Canned Coffee Central

Price: $2.XX Size/Packaging: 170ml. Metal can with a resealable cap. Smell: Rich coffee aroma. Taste: Not overly sweet where it covers the taste of coffee. Slightly more on the milky side but it doesn't bother me.   Verdict: 4/5 - Not much to talk about for this coffee. Looking at the ingredients and on the can, no granulated sugar was used to sweeten the drink; only 24 calories if you are cautious about your calorie intake. It tastes good, enough said.

Price: $2.99 Size/Packaging: 200ml. It comes with a straw for you to poke through the aluminum cover. Smell: Milk... regular milk. Taste: Yes you do taste cinnamon but it goes away completely rather fast. It tastes like a regular cappuccino after a few more sips; not like you get that many sips anyways. The body of the coffee was not as full as the mocha in the same brand and had a slightly bitter after taste which did not occur previously. Verdict: 3/5 - Nothing special that makes it distinct from its peers. I did expect a little bit more after that amazing mocha tasting which set the bar quite high for this brand. Still have two more kinds to go for this brand which I will review in the near future.

Price: $2.99 Size/Packaging: 200ml. It comes with a straw for you to poke through the aluminum cover in order to suck out all that goodness (spoilers alert). Smell: Yumm...chocolate milk... yes it smelled like chocolate milk. Taste: The dark chocolate taste does surpass the coffee initially but as the chocolate lingers away, the coffee element of this drink slowly creeps in. It's not too sweet, good balance. The body of the coffee was full and pleasant. Verdict: 4.5/5 -  A coffee that looked very promising right at the beginning. Wish it would come in a bigger size as I finished it rather quickly. Maeil makes a variety of coffees which I look forward in trying out in the near future.

Price: $1.59 Size/Packaging: 190ml. Sturdy can. Smell: Strong aroma on opening. Taste: First sip - initially you taste coffee but the strong tea taste covers the coffee almost immediately. After a few sips, you can no longer taste the coffee. This can of coffee is not sweet at all, and I do prefer it if there was more sugar in it.  Verdict: 2/5 -  The smell was promising and got my hopes up. The coffee was thin, the tea taste was too bitter and the lack of sugar did not help at all. Not something that I enjoyed and would buy again.

Price: $4.98 for a pack of 6 cans. Size/Packaging: 175ml. Slightly flimsy can.  Smell: Yummm, chocolatey.  Taste: First sip - quite sweet due to the high milk to coffee ratio, can't taste much coffee at all. On the second sip a rather thick and heavy texture started appearing; closes way to describe it is slime like. This can of coffee has a slightly bitter after taste that is acceptable, not going to interfere too much.  Verdict: 2.5/5 - Disappointed. Would be fair to say that you won't be tasting any coffee in this product. Overall I feel that it resembles bubble tea/boba more than coffee. I would still drink the other five cans despite the slightly weird texture but would I buy it again? Probably not.

Price: $0.88 Size/Packaging: 235ml. Sturdy can but prone to scratching. Smell: Strong aroma. Taste: First sip was decent. Not too thin of a consistency. Extremely sour bitter taste prolongs in your mouth; very unpleasant.  Verdict: 1/5 - Stay away from it. CRAP.

Price: $1.99 Size/Packaging: 190ml. Similar packaging as Kirin aka good. Smell: Strong cocoa aroma. Taste: A mild coffee with the aftertaste of the milk's sweetness. Good consistency. Verdict: 4.5/5 - A highly recommended can of coffee that has a pleasant balance between milk and coffee. 

Price: $0.88 Size/Packaging: 235ml. Sturdy can but prone to scratching. Smell: First waft smelled like tiramisu. Taste: Initial few sips had a close resemblance to tiramisu but soon disappeared. Slightly bitter after taste. Verdict: 3.5/5 - Almost a four but not quite. Really enjoyed this can of coffee though.

Price: $0.89 Size/Packaging: 240ml. Good sturdy can. Smell: Not much. Taste: Taste is slighty weak due to a higher milk ratio than usual. No after taste. Verdict: 3.5/5 - Good price, though I would prefer something slightly stronger.

Price: $1.50 Size/Packaging: 240ml. Flimsy like always for this brand. Smell: Sweet aroma. Taste: The balance between the taste of milk and coffee is good. Verdict: 3.5/5 - Good bang for buck.

Price: $2.50 Size/Packaging: 190ml. Little small can, nice and sturdy. Smell: Can't smell much. Taste: On the sweet side. Similar to HK style milk tea.  Verdict: 4/5 - Tastes good but pricey for such a tiny can.

Price: $1.50 Size/Packaging: 240ml. Flimsy can, easily dented from just holding it. Smell: Good strong aroma. Taste: Slightly bitter after taste. Watery consistency. Verdict: 2/5 - Meh... though it's cheap
