ive been having trouble for quite a while now as to how to describe my connection to ball jointed dolls. because im not sure that id say that i am dollkin, because to determine if something is a kintype, i generally say to myself 'i AM (what im kinsidering)' and if it resonates and feels right, ill go forward calling it a kintype. like i AM definitively a dog, i AM an elk, i AM a mercreature and all that. but would i say that i AM a doll? or am i something LIKE a doll, or do i just WANT to be a doll?

i dont know TwT i go back over this again and again in my head and im not sure. so i tend to prefer to say that its an aldernic identity, that i want to have a ball jointed body. maybe its otherhearted stuff

and its not really about being an object, being taken care of, but like my body feels wrong sometimes for my joints being smooth and feeling fleshy

i wish this particular identity was easier to decipher and give a name to

so apparently recently theres been discourse in the therian community (from TikTok, how unsurprising) about nonhuman packers. i dont give a fuck what someone puts in their pants, im not a creep. i dont personally really feel like getting a packer cuz i dont get that kind of species dysphoria much.

but i do get species EUPHORIA. and lately for primarily misceverse stuff, i have been taking a look at knotted d1ldos, and the thought of having and using them have been euphoric, in two ways: 1) alterhumanity and 2) misceverse identity.

i have found quite a few nonhuman d1ldos that i like the looks of and are considering getting at some point, most of them knotted but a couple arent. pictures of my favorites at the far bottom. if youre also interested in these, links to them are below the cut :) most of them are customizable in color to some degree, and come in different sizes

it might be like an emotional thing, cuz i had one of these in a small suede bag, and took with me on our last big trip, and got out of the car one point (i think for a bathroom break) with it in my pocket, but i couldnt find it when we got home later that night. it made me feel real sad for a bit because i felt like i had abandoned it and that it was lonely where it was, but then i tried to see this situation like 'it was time for this item to move on from my possession - maybe it was picked up by someone who needs it more than me in this time of our lives.'

so it feels less sad, though i do still miss it wherever it is, i just hope it is helping someone who needs it.

i also found a shop with eaes that i like the looks of but im not sure that the person is still selling things
