why is everyone saying nagikae is canon when korotan D took place before college and after college nagisa and kayano dont really talk anymore?
No one said nagisa and kayano donโt really talk anymore,hun. Donโt misunderstood what kayano said.
What she means in the final chapter is thatย โNagisa is too focused on his job to pay his attention on meโ ย .Knowing nagisa as character,you might realise he is always the dense type of guy and clueless in terms of romantic relationship.
Like cmon if they really donโt talk anymore:
1. Hara wonโt suddenly ask kayano howโs she doing with nagisa.
2. They are meeting each other but disturbed by nagisaโs students.Nagisa wonโt apologize if it wasnโt they supposed to meet each other alone. (Probably a date)
3. Thereโs also a line in Nagisaโs profile (in Graduation Album book) that since his parents are getting back together they are suggesting nagisa to change his surname after he suddenly got mediaโs full attention. Thereโs no reason for him to get their attention unless heโs planning to marry an actress.
Also Iโm rejoicing because Matsui feeds us nagikae shippers with more of their content.He himself said that korotan d is dedicated for nagisa and kayanoโs fans. Iโm still not 100% sure whether they are canon or not. But that doesnโt stop me from making comics about them actually dating, getting married or having kids.
