one is someone who rather than stepping back and reflecting after getting upset just went on a tirade on live;

one is an unhealed ex-evangelical who cannot stay out of other people’s business if she tried;

one is a guy who i honestly haven’t heard from since his original post that helped fuel this mess;

one is a well-known liar and manipulator who just had to insert herself into the discussion;

one is just some poor guy who was forced into a situation by the above woman despite being one of the ONLY people there with a reasonable response to everything; and

one is just fuelling the fire and i cannot tell if she’s genuinely clueless or is causing drama on purpose.

then there’s everyone else. some are picking sides, some are staying silent, and some are actually being smart about this whole thing. how the hell did all of this start from one woman deciding to drop the tarot cards and become christian? we didn’t even know if she was a regular-ass christian or an evangelical yet and you all fucking JUMPED her ass. then jumped the first person’s ass for defending her right to make her own choices.

if she decides to crawl out of that mess, which i’m kind of guessing she will (assuming a certain egregore actually loses his grip on her), there is no way in hell she’s gonna feel safe enough to come back. you all don’t even have to be happy with her, just a simple “hey we’re here for you if you choose to return” and NOTHING ELSE would have been wonderful. but nooooo, you all needed to project your trauma into this; didn’t you?

please note, i’m a jewish pagan practitioner myself; not part of an organised faith. but holy shit is this group disappointing. also, do they not realise that they’re giving christiantok (aka the evangelicals on the internet) fucking ammo? like at the very least you all should be able to agree to not give the supposed enemy what they want ffs.

it’s just filled with racism, misogyny, victim-blaming, people who think they’ve deconstructed from evangelicalism / organised faith but haven’t, and dumbasses. like please get your shit together. all of you.
