If there’s anything transformers related you want to keep that’s on this blog/candywafercutie/candywafercrunchy that I’ve posted, that’s my OWN art/text, not a collab, and not a commission, then feel free to save it.

The only thing I ask of you in return is to NOT re-upload my stuff anywhere else or claim it to be your art, and to label it as made by kitkaters in some way. Maybe rename the files or save it in a folder labeled kitkaters. I would also like this post to be screenshotted or saved in some form alongside the others, as a sort of receipt to say that yes, you have my permission. Also, please follow my twitter (x). Keep in mind, this only extends to transformers content.

This is a very…. unwise decision on my part, given the amount of art theft that could result from this, but I trust most people who would bother to save my art/text posts would do so in good faith.

The internet/fandom archivist/historian in me is fucking pissed about Tumblr’s decision. I also know that people save fanart they like. I’d rather address the reality that likely at least ONE person out there has downloaded at least one of my drawings than pretend it’s never happened at all.

I know this is a weird request from me based eNTIRELY around trust and goodwill, but when I look at the list of other fandom communities that have been demolished by knee-jerk decisions like this one, I see years upon years of sub-communities and pop culture just deleted out of existence, just like that. I don’t want to be in that group too, I’ve spent the last 2+ years in this community, and honestly they’ve been some of the best years of my life.

While I’ll be setting up base on other sites, I also realize that if tumblr really does enforce this shitty ban the way it promises, then the fandom I’ve grown to love will be scattered across 10+ diff sites and it won’t be the same :c.
