Small tips for severe depression
Have baby wipes beside your bed, wash your face and hands with them
Same with a hairbrush, brush your hair from your bed, it’ll make you feel cleaner
Open a window or have a fan on for air circulation
You don’t have to get dressed into day clothes, you can change your clothes into fresh pyjamas
Stay hydrated, have granola bars, a box of crackers, ect, near your bed and a water bottle
Try to regulate what content you’re consuming, try to look at things that are relaxing and pleasant for you
You don’t have to clean your room traditionally if its too much, you can shove everything into boxes and deal with one box at a time, shove the boxes in the corner. A clean floor feels a lot nicer than clutter.
Same with laundry, you don’t have to put it away, just have a laundry basket for clean laundry and a laundry basket for dirty. Having them contained feels a lot nicer than on the floor.
If you can’t get enough energy to brush your teeth just wipe them with a tissue 🤷♂️ it will still feel better than nothing.
There are no rules, just staying comfortable and safe should be a priority. Take care!

there's so much of homecha that doesn't quite translate it's such a korean show. like when they brought up the same idea as in when the camellia blooms 사람 잡아먹는 팔자. people born with a fate that eats the people around them. they're not just saying dusik brings death with him they're saying his astrological fate (4 pillars 8 letters) is killing people and he is destined by the universe to be alone.
traditionally koreans practice ancestor veneration and family/clan ties are the biggest aspect of people's identity and your fate, worth, and future are a collective identity u and ur family share. if ur an orphan it means you've been abandoned, u r disconnected from ur lineage and you've done something in a past life that affects all the relationships you have in this life.
and the whole show has been working to undo this idea that it can be someone's fault they live a lonely life or that u can be destined to be lonely forever. and not in a way that says the traditional korean beliefs that inform that opinion are outdated and incorrect but by focusing on how in korean culture fate is defined as relationships and their consequences. acts of kindness and opening urself up to new ppl and reaching out can change your fate, dusik's kindness to hyejin set in motion the 7 years luck flower hyejin's dad bought for her and then it was revealed that it was dusik's grandpa's wish that even brought her into dusik's life over and over. people loving each other can counteract destiny and open opportunities for different kinds of fate. and human beings were meant to be in community together and change each other.
some incoherent thoughts on love, and hye-jin and du-sik
it’s there, isn’t it? or at least something like it, drifting beneath them like an undercurrent, a slipstream.
it’s how du-sik always notices when hye-jin enters or leaves a room. it’s how hye-jin knows he’s about to cry from a look. it’s how they sit at dinner, close, sleeves brushing, but not quite touching. it’s how hye-jin is half-turned to him in every scene, how du-sik is so aware of her anytime she’s near. it’s how she notices he’s hurt, how she notices he’s sick, how she turns to watch him walk away. it’s how he sees mi-seon at the set and then immediately looks around for hye-jin. oh, you’re going for drinks, for lunch? let me join you. never mind that i said i didn’t want to, that was before i knew you would be there.
it’s how their interactions must be casual, otherwise they have to give it weight, give it meaning. i’m going to call you a rhino when you bump into me, because otherwise i’ll have to think about how it felt to have you close. i’m going to bicker and laugh at you while our hands touch, otherwise i’ll have to look at you and i can’t do that. it’s the way the camera doesn’t linger every time they touch but only when it matters, only when they can no longer pretend that it doesn’t. your hands on my face; you leaning in to kiss me; you holding me while i cry, when i’m frightened.
it’s how they linger here, in this halfway place between love and indifference. when i nearly kiss you, i’m going to hit my head and call myself crazy. when i stare at you in the store, i’m going to shake my head and tell myself to get a grip. i’m going to call this anything other than what it is. this is not love; it’s just kindness or attention, and i don’t care that they all mean the same thing. just don’t make me call it love.
it’s how i can’t even fit it all in here, because otherwise i’d be talking about every second they look at each other. because isn’t that what love is? not something bright and blinding, but a constant, steady attention?
but mostly, i think it’s about how du-sik finishes the porridge when it’s hard to eat, how hye-jin finishes the tea when it’s hard to drink. i’m going to complain the entire time but i’m still going to do it, because you gave it to me. because it’s you.

giving love to trauma survivors whose trauma made them lose guilt, shame, or empathy.

some of you have never been in a certain paralyzing state of terror when your parent is furious because any wrong move might send them over the edge and result in pain and it shows
Is anyone else ever genuinely shocked when you find out you have an impact on someone’s life? A coworker can be like “I’ve missed seeing you” and I’m just like “???? you?? missed me????? My presence has an effect on your daily experience???? I affect things??? W h a t ? ? ?”
I wanna be able to open up without people trying to save me.
Euphoria S1 was heavy, and painful. Frustrating (in an important way). Also cautionary as fuck. And really beautifully shot.
Bravo to everyone, especially Zendaya.
daily reminder to myself, i cant have his constant attention, he has his own life and things to do.
who am i kidding i want to be the only thing he focuses on during his every waking moment.

Y’know what’s weird? The lack of polyamory in yandere writings. I get that a huge part of yandere’s is being possessive and jealous, but where’s a yandere that’s like “yeah you can still like other people, as long as you love me” and is still possessive over them and manipulates them, or yanderes having multiple darlings, or two yanderes having a normal relationship with each other but then they both decide they like this specific person and kidnap them. So many scenarios!!
tw - kidnapping, imprisonment, mentions of bondage, implied physical abuse, implied emotional abuse, possessive mindsets.
While I don’t really think I’m at a loss when it comes to polyamorous yanderes, it has been a minute since I’ve gotten a chance to talk about how irresistible the idea of multiple darlings would be to any decent possessive yandere. It’s not that they love you any less, they love you all, that’s the point, but they’ve always been the type to hoard the things that are precious to them, to safeguard and protect and keep. It’s hard not to apply the same principles, to all the many people they’re convinced they care about.
On one hand, it’s better than suffering alone. It’s a guilty thing to find comfort in, but it’s nice to have someone there, someone who’s scarred in all the same places and terrified of all the same punishments and knows how hard it is to go on, from day to day under the stifling conditions you’re being subjected to. It’s good to have someone with all the same sore spots, all the same incentive to avoid certain topics, not identical trauma, but similar enough to warrant comparison. You’re captor’s so busy, their attention split so many ways, it’s good to be able to rely on a few pairs of sympathetic hands when you’re cuts go unbandaged and you’re too exhausted to do the job yourself.
But, then again, it does make your captor paranoid, almost unnecessarily so. By giving you people you can empathize with, they’re only making themself into more of a villain, more of a tyrant to overthrow and less of a provider to adore. There always would’ve been restraints, but the collars are tighter, now, and the shackles never seem to come off. There always would’ve been locks, but now there are a dozen on every door, meant to stop you from communicating, from scheming, from coming up with awful plans and saying awful things and giving them a reason to make one unfortunate, uninvolved bystander into an example. You’re not interchangeable, you’re not replaceable, but they have every reason in the world to act like you are, to treat you like just another warm body they can easily dispose of at any time. If you think they’re willing to kill you, you won’t want to give them a reason to. If you think they’re a heartless monster, you’ll be too scared to scream and thrash and cause trouble, for you and all the friends they allow you to have. They’re cruel, but only as cruel as they have to be. They’re ruthless, but they need to be ruthless.
They’ve always been the type to hoard pretty things, after all. They never said they took kindly to their small treasures getting along so well.
What is the purpose off being a "yandere"
There really isn’t one, at least not to my knowledge. For me it stems from trauma, attachment issues, anxiety, and insecurity. It isn’t something I control. All I can do is get my feelings out in a healthy way and communicate with my partner
