one month stay documentation.
day 1 (Jan 17 2024): arrival from the NAIA 3 airport. we took a Grab going home for 1017 pesos (excluding skyway fee). Tito had his coffee with his shortbread biscuit. He got the chocolates out from his luggage and put it in the refrigerator. he also gave us mama's dress and papa's shirt. after that, he asked about our plans in life, how we are doing at school. he mentioned of aiming high ALWAYS. it seemed to me experience is not something they put priority but rather they want to be the best right away. really the definition of FAST-PACED, i guess. before dinner, tito and tita were in a facetime.
day 2 (Jan 18 2024): Tito had his coffee in the morning then we had our breakfast. he cleaned the filter of the washing machine and looked into the socket of water heater. he gave the kids books together with the deo. he asked us what our plans for the day, and i did not know what to say because we really did not have any whereas he will just have to take a rest from the jetlag. i gave him the 20k and he asked if we needed some grocery. he put the crucifix at the altar corner of the house. while having dinner time, he mentioned he had an encounter with a cockroach at his room last night hahaha. aftersometime, he opened the chocolate santa. it was delicious i swear. YUMMY!!! then after dinner, he setup the netflix account in the TV. it was successful because last year, it did not work. since i wanted to try the netflix before his eyes, i decided to play wednesday and see how it goes. he mentioned there was a filipino audio available but he did not recommend it because it does not sound good haha. while watching, i wanted to activate the eng sub since it was kind of noisy but i was shy lol i did not want him to get the idea that we do not understand the audio well (but it really is hahaha)
day 3 (Jan 19 2024): when i wake up this morning, i saw him sweeping the floor outside. darating today sina Yoyo at Lala so Tito asked us to buy a couple of tubs of ice cream. We watched Wednesday for a bit and we decided to go to 7/11 para sa ice cream. There was a sale ice cream so thats what we got. i think it is 318. Nasa harap na kami ng gate when we heard a car in our back. surprisingly, sina Lala at Yoyo na pala iyon. we thought they would arrive at around 2 in the afternoon. mabilis iyong biyahe nila in fairness ha. when we were preparing the plates and utensils, nasabihan pala si Caryl na maganda na magagamit iyong babasagin kasi they are meant to use not to just be stuck somewhere. well, nasabihan naman kami na iyon na gagamitin namin but our problem here is need ng tlc in handling those plates kasi nga babasagin. ang hirap kaya maghugas ng mga babasagin lalo na handwash. di pa naman ganun kaluwang iyong washing area. caryl really felt bad for what happened. because of that, medyo nawalan siya gana to eat the ice cream haha. in the afternoon, sinukat nila mga need sa rooftop and then they went outside to look for the materials. bumalik na sila hapon na. then kuya suddenly sent a message to me. akala ko may favor siya ulit kasi ganun siya lagi. iyon pala, need na pala iyong 50k. hinahanap na ni tito since he really needed it tonight. it seemed that he cant wait for the sunrise. ang nagwithdraw is si Caryl at Papa. halatang stressed si tito about the money. bumalik sila caryl na dala dala iyon 50k and he said na nawala iyong stress niya haha and he added while going upstairs that he would not know what to do if it were not for the both of us. wala namang kaso iyon eh tsaka we are free naman so no biggie di baaa hehe. nga pala, first time makatikim ng ice cream si lion. mukhang ayaw niya or baka malaki lang iyong isinusubo ni tito sa kanya haha after that, nag inuman sila Papa at Tito Marlord. sumama din tito sa kanila. sa gilid, nag uusap kami nila yoyo at caryl. before i forget, out of nowhere, bigla siyang kumuha ng money sa pocket niya and then gave it to us (caryl at ako). sabi niya it is a treat from him for being "here" i guess haha i think it has something to do with the stressful things hehe. i just wish na di niya pagalitan si kuya about sa money.
note: while trying to get the ulis sa first floor, i missed a step sa hagdan so medyo na out of balance ang lola niyo haha sakit sa tuhod i swear. not sure if nakita ni tito marlord hahaha
day 4 (Jan 20 2024): tito and the other guys went to the wet market. Tito fixed, i think, iyong switch ng pump ng water since nasira. dumating iyong mga gamit for the rooftop. lunchtime, when we were about to finish, he asked if we would like to have the ice cream. kaya pala tinanong niya kasi gusto niya ice cream. paglabas ko ng ice cream, iisang baso lang nilabas ko and then i forgot na dapat kinuhanan ko din iyong iba. pag-open ko ng ice cream, nilagyan ko ng laman iyong baso namin ni caryl. right after i was finished with ours, sinabihan ako ni Caryl na i should offer the ice cream kay Tito. OMGGGG! hahahaha i totally forgot hahaha oo nga pala. ganun dapat ang ginawa ko huhu buti na lang pinaalala niya. Right there, I asked Tito if gusto niya and totoong ngang gusto niya haha akala niya daw hindi ko na siya tatanungin huhu big thanks kay caryl hehe. the whole afternoon, he became busy with the rooftop. then around 4 ata, dumating sila Tita L, Janjan and Ryan. after some time, bumaba si Tito and gave the phone kay Janjan. pagtapos nila magtalk, bumalik din siya sa taas. fastforward to dinner, kainan. wala naman masyado nangyari after. :>
day 5 (Jan 21 2024): Went for a grocery sa SM. Then, we stopped by at Ace Hardware to look for ceiling fans kasi sabi ni Tita maganda daw maglagay ng fans sa terrace im not sure if dito rin sa second floor. Habang nag-grocery, nag ask pala si Tita L na bilhan siya kahit oil, suka't toyo and bread/biscuit lang. Hindi ko alam na iyon lang pala pinapabili niya. Medyo na-bad mood pa si Yoyo kasi bakit hindi daw namin kinuhanan si Tita L. Sabi pa niya, mas maganda pang hindi na siya pumunta kung ganun lang din mangyayari. Pero naging maayos din naman kasi siya na mismo kumuha ng mga pinapamili ni Tita L. Pagkauwi, nag-usap si Tito ate ate about sa ticket ni ate flying to HongKong. 16K kasi iyon and si Tito ata magbibigay pero parang shoulder ni Tita Neth hehe. 4 dapat kami magsisimba pero since busy sit Tito, namove siya ng 6. Tagalog iyong homily ayern. Today, binilhan niya rin pala si Aslan ng balloon na toy, spiderman and frog.
day 6 (Jan 22 2024): Inayos ni Tito iyong living room. Namove mga furnitures. Iyong mirror na sasalubong sa hagdan is namove sa pinakadulo sa may altar area. Ang bubungad na is iyong dining table. Naglagay din daw pala siya ng mga zonrox sa sink/ drainage. Nakita niya iyong sirang electric fan. He asked who the culprit is. Di ko masabi na si Aslan ofc hahaha then he added na doest matter. Sinabi niya na bibili ng cake this afternoon pero hindi natuloy since may ibang lakad kami-agpagadgad kami ti niyog. Then sabi niya bukas na lang. Dadaan din daw siya ng DIY eh. Di ko na alam gagawin niya doon. After lunch, nagpagadgad kamipagkatapos umulan. Kausap niya si Tita that time. Tagal nila nag usap kasi pagbalik namin di pa sila tapos. Then ayon, kumain ng bilo bilo and palitaw. Nagustuhan ni Lion sobra hahaha. Sabi ni Tito, masarap daw iyong food. Then natulog siya pagtapos kasi inaantok siya. Pagsapit ng gabi, uminom sila. Nalate na rin silang nag dinner.
day 7 (Jan 23 2024): Sabay kaming nag breakfast. They went to the wet market para bumili ng tomatoes, snake beans, and maskara i think. I went out early so wala ako masyado sa house. Pagbalik ko, I had my lunch. Galing pala ako sa LITEX for my 3rd shot of Hepa B vaccine. Ayun, inayos na pala ni Tito iyong ibang babasagin at nilagay niya sa overhead shelf. Paggising niya in the afternoon from his nap, tumulong siya doon sa gawain sa rooftop since need ng manpower sa pagtransfer ng yero papuntang taas. Lumabas din sila sa hapon para bilhin iyong something need for the rooftop. Pagdating nila, kumain kami ng Aroz Caldo. Bandang magdidilim na, nasa garage lang kami. Tahimik. Naglaalro siya ng jigsaw puzzle. Kami ni Caryl naglalaro naman ng chess. Nalaman niya iyon and he told us na when they come back in October, dadala niya daw iyong chess niya na matagal ng nabili. Im not sure if maglalaro kami with him hahaha Nagdinner kami after that. Haaaaaaays! Siya naghugas ng mga plato, kutsara't tinidor ng dinner huhuhaha He insisted it. Then, we just let him do it haha. It was a chill and quiet night after that. Then after sometime, tumaas na rin siya para mag shower and get ready for bed. Iyong cake pala, sabi niya since he's been busy the shole day, bukas na raw bibili ng MANGO cake haha.
day 8 (Jan 24 2024): he wake up early for the reason that he thought ate would go to school to pay for the ticket. Then after that, i left home early din kasi magpapa-enroll ako. Di ko pa masabi sabi kay Tito kasi nahihiya ako sa school hahaha grabe ito ha. Pagbalik ko, lumabas pala sila. Bumili sila sa lumber store and then they had some pan de coco. he offered the food but we decline it since we were not yet hungry pa naman. The after that, napag usapan iyong sa pagpuntang FCM. si caryl ang sumama kay tito. tinuro ko si caryl lol. tsaka galing ako sa labas kaya medyo tinatamad na ako lumabas ulit. ayun, they went in at FCM. pumunta silang handyman at tsaka red ribbon - mango flavor- favorite ni tito. marami siya binili sa handyman - host, some brushes, enamel paint, liha, tissue holder, and bathroom paraphernalia hanging thing lol. umabot ata bill sa handyman ng 6k eh. fastforward... tito offered the cake para kainin namin. as usual, nag no kami ni caryl kasi syempre nahihiya tsaka busog pa naman kami. then it was settled na mamayang dinner na lang. dinnertime, mukhang malabo. uminom sila. late na rin kami kumain pero di kami sabay. patapos na kami noong bumaba sila. that was i thought na makakakain na kami ng cake hahaha iingay noong dalawa hahaha i was not sure if tama iyong nakikita ko but tito looked irritated with the drunken guys hahaha. nga pala, he started painting the side rails sa balcony. nag-ihaw si Yoyo ng dinakdakan huhu yaaaaay!
day 9 (Jan 25 2024): maaga siya nagising. naabutan niya pang umalis si caryl for school. when i wake up, wala sila. lumabas sila ni papa para bumili ng something. dumating sila while we were having our breakfast. sila lala at yoyo galing naman ng mercury. wala masyado nangyari sa umaga. nakita niya ako nagbabasa ng book and then ayun tinuloy niya magpaint sa side rails sa balcony. nilagay niya rin iyong stuff sa cr nila and tinanggal niya iyong parang sunog sa flattening iron. in the afternoon, nothing much happened. tito was waiting for ate pala na bumaba para magbayad sa BDO haha while watching in the afternoon, naki join siya samin. nakaihi si lion sa pants niya and ayun dumiretso sa sofa bed :< noong pumunta si lion kay tito, doon niya nafeel na wet iyong short niya but di niya pansin na basa sa sofa (or oo?! hahaha). pinanood ang peppa pig. tinawagan si tita sa late afternoon and then ayun. it was a nice and quiet day. we had our dinner and kinuha niya iyong cake sa ref and offered it to us. then kinuha niya cadbury chocolate - one of his faves. di siya masyado nagtambay sa baba, pumunta siya sa white na sofa and nagbabasa siya book niya. then after sometime, tumaas na rin siya para magpahinga.
day 10 (Jan 26 2024): in the morning, nilinisan niya iyong ref huhu tsaka iyong water heater din. nothing much happened, i think. in the afternoon, nilagay niya mga fragile plates sa cupboard. pinanood niya kami linisan iyong table sa baba. i said, in no time, thanks kay ate jane. medyo nainis ako sa ginawa niya actually kasi at first, si caryl naglilinis noon and then bigla na lang siyang pumunta sa eksena lol nalaman namin kila Yoyo at Lala na nilinisan pala ni Tito iyong white cupboard hehe
day 11 (Jan 27 2024): i think wala rin masyadong ginawa today. nagbasa siya ng book kaninang morning ata iyon. we made sopas in the afternoon. it was good naman daw pero not in the standard of Yoyo hahaha medyo nahurt ako na criniticize niya iyong gawa namin ni ate hahaha pero keri na rin. he added na i can cook it for him again when I get the chance to work in their country. dumating si Kuya and binigay na niya iyong iphone 11 niya :> pumunta sila wilcon depot to buy some stuff and then went home para ibaba iyong mga gamit. then, went to SM para bumili ng case ng phone ni Yoyo. kasama pala nila iyong 2 workers hehe.
day 12 (Jan 28 2024): went to Tanay Rizal. came home late. waited in the terrace until the car goes home again. talking about some drugs for the reason that Balong has a swollen foot. Said along the lines of... bakit hindi niya alam iyong gamot na iyon eh nursing student siya... haahaha the pressure is real grabEEEE
day 13 (Jan 29 2024): painted the rooftop. it was fine not until he saw hannah's bed. "the bed is hurting my horse". the mood was ruined. he was very angry with what happened in the hairdresser. he fixed hannah's room. washed it and it is better now. then, his mood seemed to become better, or maybe he's trying his best.
day 14 (Jan 30 2024): tito was busy with the painting in the roof. then we had Jollibee for lunch. sinamahan ko siya bumili. order namin: 2 orders of 6 pcs chicken bucket with spaghetti platter, 6 pcs single order of palabok and 2 large fries. more than 2k din iyan eh.
day 15 (Jan 31 2024): mga quarter to 11:00, pumunta sila ni ate sa SM para magshopping. bumili sila p- training, mas maliit na cr, mattress cover, and some of his clothes. in the late afternoon, we bought ice cream - hershe's flavor and iyong 4+1 na espesyal ice cream. naubos namin lahat yan hahaha SUPERRRR SARAPPPP FR!!
day 16 (Feb 1 2024): last day of painting the rooftop. today nga pala, may bisita from security bank. for closed na raw iyong lotB since hindi na nagbabayad si Henry River(o/a). then, we went to fcm to buy a paint at the handyman store. we bought a dulce de leche cake, then. we crossed and then at the local store, we bought hanger na maraming ipit, plastic broom w/ dustpan, and a dustbin. we took for a small walk so we can go to their other store where we bought the laundy basket. we headed home, then. we had a conversation na we can be his apprentice in setting up the stuff at the washing area. i answered him na as long as he does not do it early hahaha
before i forgot, nilagay niya na rin pala iyong bagong burner. mas naging better iyong kitchen in all fairness. need ng battery tho. pero sa tingin ko talaga parang naging complicated lang siya eh. he called us para ipakita how we do the burner. madali lang naman. anyone can do it fr.
day 17 (Feb 2 2024): tito setup the board that is for the casseroles and pan. then, he painted the balcony. before he took a shower and nap in the afternoon, he already booked for our staycation at the Mabini, Batangas. sa hapon, nagpabili siya ng ice cream sa 7/11. sumama pa siya sa pagbili haha. since he was not that busy in the evening, he was just watching videos on his phone. he was laughing with all those videos. we had ice cream after our dinner.
day 18 (Feb 3 2024): chill lang today. wala siya masyado ginawa. sinabi pa niya na medyo tahimik ko daw. then hapon, he asked papa if he wanted to drink syempre nag yes si papa. then, pagbalik niya, may dala siya ulit na ice cream haha. sa taas sila uminom.
day 19 (Feb 4 2024): pagbaba namin, nagpupunas siya ng window wooooow huhu then siya na rin nag offer na maghugas ng mga pinagkainan namin. we went to la mesa nature reserve. akala namin eco park hahaha todo ayos pa kami tapos magttrekking lang naman pala haha edi sana nag rubber shoes me. 12:19PM start then natapos kami ng 2:00. super uhaw namin noon kaya uminom kami noon sa bottle ni aslan since natatanggal din naman iyong water. nakita ni tito then sabi niya we should be ashamed of what we did. poor baby daw lol not really sure if he was joking or not. kinda tired with his jokes or whatnot. then, umuwi kami to freshen up. mga 4:15 umalis kami ng bahay para kumain ng shakeys sa UPTC. mga 7:00, umalis kami sa mall then dumiretso sa UP for the mass. 7:30 na kami nakarating sa church. akala ni kuya 8:00 magstart kaya ayun, medyo nalate hehe
day 19 (Feb 5 2024): they painted the garage today. when i enter the house, ang unang bungad sakin ni Tito is "can you do a 12-hour shift?" hahaha nastress ako mga teh hahaha that whole conversation was grilling me haha anudawww tapos ang isa sa tanong na pinaka nakastress is iyong kung ano daw ba ang gusto ko na area hahaha i was surprised kasi he still remembered my answer two years ago - cardiology. hindi pa malinaw sakin kung ano alaga gusto ko. nappressure ako reallness. then ayun, pinakita niya sakin kung magkano ma-earn ko in case mag work ako dun. mataas na rank na pala if magwork sa nursing home care, dun sila tita eh. magstart daw pala sa nhs na pinakababa which is mga nasa 28 000 pounds. sa nursing home care, mga nasa humigit 2M ata iyon eh. and when tita comes over in october, i should ask her daw about the system ng nursing parang ganun. haaaaays! haha gustung gusto ko na noon umakyat at magpalit hahaha HOTSEAT malala haha. na-trauma ako sa pinagsasabi niya. chill lang siya the whole afternoon. sa gabi naman, in-offer niya iyong natitirang maliit na ice cream. nag ice cream kami sa tanghali kasi hehe nakisabay pa pala si kuya for lunch. nag ice cream din si kuya. back to dinner, di ako nakasagot sa kanya. i was waiting for caryl to answer tito. caryl did not answer and i felt really bad. akala ko magagalit na si tito, hindi naman hehe. after that, he was looking for his ice cream jokingly haha then when i told him nothing left, he said na malapit lang daw iyong 7/11 and he can buy whatever he wants haha late na rin noon kaya ayun tumaas na rin siya noon eh.

day 21 (Feb 6 2024): nothing much really happened today i think haha i remember na haha mid afternoon, sinamahan ni Tito si ate na bumili ng carrots kila macmac. nanghihina daw siya na hindi gumagalaw. they stopped by 7/11 to get some ice cream as well - pistachio and iyong circle lang na may three flavors - choco, keso, and ube. nauna silang kumain ng pancit kasi i had a class. sa gabi, ayun uminom sila ni Papa. then in-offer niya na kumain kami ng pistachio ice cream. then the rest is history. day 22 (Feb 7 2024): nagsabay sabay kami kumain ng bfast. nag usap about sa netflix, books, and plans for the next day. i also asked him what his plans for the day. in-assemble ulit iyong high chair para kainan ni lion. it may become messy pero ayun he's learning daw kasi. then maaga na-dismiss ang PE class so naabutan ko sila kumakain ng lunch na. sa loob na ako kumain and i learned tito used to play volleyball. that's awesomeee. sana ol marunong di ba haha tumaas na rin siya that time eh. nagbabasa lang siya doon sa taas and probably a nap. then dinner came. i asked him what dried fish he was going to buy for tita and he told me tita gave me a list hahaha ganun pala iyon. then ayun, napag usapan na ano bibilhin na pasalubong for tita. then iyong amoy ng tuyo lol then we had ice cream again. then the usual after kumain. siya pala nagbuhat noong water kasi ubos na huhu kakahiya haha eto naman si ate nag yes lattan aya hahaha haaaays then he went upstairs na to do his nightly routine.
day 23 (Feb 8 2024): prep for Batangas trip. I remember Tito asking me if I were already pack up my things for tomorrow's trip hahaha
day 24 (Feb 9 2024) - day day 26 (Feb 11 2024): Batangas trip
day 27 (Feb 12 2024): We went to FCM to buy some Goldilocks goodies. Wala iyong mocha basta iyon hahaha and ayun he bought a whole roll cake dulce de leche before he goes back home daw huhu. Magdidilim na noong umalis na sila ni Kuya eh.
