The city

Today is yellow Screened madness A Whirling turning pit cushioned by mundane security . You stand beyond the frame. Perfect juxtaposition, But for a mere moment. A glance from within a crowd. Eyes half shut from weary I look on Like syrup, too sweet, you coat the glass Which sits at the tip of the ledge. Cautioned by its polished appearance I stop. Yellow and restless. I stand motionless.
