I hate this time of year every year because 9 years ago (2017) I was dating the guy that sexually assaulted me, and the memories on my social media bring it all back to the forefront of my mind 😣

I wish I could go back and tell past me to run and stop seeing this guy before the worst of it happened.

I won’t go into detail about the worst things that happened but this guy would slap my ass in public even after I told him to stop and that it made me uncomfortable, always joked about getting me pregnant when we saw a pregnant woman when we were out, spoke in Spanish with a worker at a Mexican restaurant we were eating at (and he knew I don’t know any Spanish), and wanted me to dress slutty, and gave me attitude when I told him he could buy the slutty clothes cause I wouldn’t, he also took a picture of me at work (we both worked at Sam’s club at that time) and told me I looked ugly in my clothes, and when we were sitting next to each other in the break room (and in front of other people) he actually pulled at the fabric of my jeans and said “I want to burn these”. As for the worst stuff, I said no and that I didn’t want to but he coerced me by saying “if you love me you’ll do it” and wouldn’t let me stop until he was satisfied. I will say that during this the bottom half of my clothes never were taken off. I’ll leave that there. No more details on a post like this.

After all this he had the audacity to brag to mutual acquaintances at work about everything and he basically boasted that he assaulted me.
