Misty’s little smirk after Ash gets water gunned lol
Pokeshipping is dead. It is dubbed by 4kids. I wonder what you people see in it.
Yikes, after only posting 2 Pokeshipping doodles, I already got one of these kinds of asks. o_o’
Since you say Pokeshipping is dead, you’re right when Ash “died” and played around with Misty, making for a great “dead” Pokeshipping moment. Plus her reaction to him waking up is adorable. =^_^=
On to the actual ask!
Firstly, yes, 4Kids absolutely added in a lot of Pokeshipping moments. From the Pokémon Christmas Bash soundtrack to Pokémon Live, Pokeshipping was given to us shippers like free candy at a carnival. I still love these moments, though, because they shaped a lot of my memories from childhood. That being said, the original Japanese version still contains a lot of Pokeshipping moments, as well, like all the cute blushes and embarrassment they get towards one another. ^_^
I’m not sure you understand what the word “dead” means, though. If something is dead, it means there’s no life left in it. Think of any community as a living organism, and each member of that community being a single heartbeat that keeps the community alive. As long as there’s at least one person who supports something, then it’s still alive. The Pokeshipping community has been going strong for over two decades and with the amount of dedicated shippers still showing love for this ship, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. The Pokeshipping community is filled to the brim with incredibly talented artists and writers who provide a plethora of content for other Pokeshippers to enjoy and I’m eternally grateful to each and every one of them. I mean, I’m mainly in the Monster Rancher anime community and there are very few of us left, but we’re still keeping the community alive anyway we can. :3
I feel people should be able to support any ship they want to and even if we don’t like the same ship, it doesn’t mean we can’t try to understand other ships. Like Amourshipping, I’m not a supporter of it, but I think it’s wonderful that this ship has so many supporters because it means we’re all under the same Pokémon supporting umbrella. We can still appreciate different ships even if we don’t support them personally, like I can’t tell you the amount of gorgeous Amourshipping fan art I’ve seen. Some of these artists are just insanely talented and even though they may draw for a ship I don’t support, it doesn’t take away from the pure talent they have and I admire their love for their ship. I like learning more about why people like their ships and it’s not about trying to convert others or anything, it’s about learning to understand one another. We can support different ships and still be civil to one another.

7 giorno Pokeshipping Week: Disaster dates
Happy Pokeshipping day to everyone, including the Pokeshippers that have blocked me and want my head on a silver platter.

Happy Pokeshipping Day 2024!
I won’t tell you how unpredictable and hard adult life can be, I’m sure you know it as well. And as it’s anyway better something late than nothing at all, here is some pokeshipping hugs! It was an old sketch but I suppose you don’t remember it. It is an illustration to my old and very long fanfic I still hope to finish and translate to English. But even not knowing the story I hope you will be able to enjoy it as a random pokeshipping moment.

Day 7: Time Capsule
And here's the final theme! It's a bit more mellow than the last couple themes, but I like it nonetheless on account of how it feels like it ties things up nicely with a bunch of memorable paraphernalia. (That's a sentence and a half there, Hakui. ಠ▃ಠ )
The time capsule itself is based off the old TM case, but it's pretty loose. The shape and details don't exist in the official art (which was slim pickings from when I looked). I really just wanted to make sure it looked like it belonged in the world and be something that people would think, "oh neat!" when they see it. So, if you thought that, then yay! Mission accomplished!
Anyway, if you want to believe this takes places months or even years after the previous theme, then go right ahead. 👍 I honestly didn't think too hard about the time frame of when this thing would be looked into as depicted above. So, I'm open to headcanons! Have at it, folks!
And once again, here's to another year of celebrating Pokeshipping! Thank you to everyone who's commented, reblogged, liked, and whatever else interactions there are! Loved the engagement and here's hoping to seeing y'all again in the future! Cya ✌

Alola Sunset Scene: Pokeshipping week 2024
Happy Pokeshipping day, everyone!
This drawing takes place in Alola, the exact beach where Misty and Ash had their walk. Now that they're grown-ups, they can travel to Alola, the place that brings them both peace.

Day 6: Video Call
... Or we can just jump straight into a phonecall mid-vacation to give our response. Why not? 🤪 If it's one thing he's known for, it's Ash's neverending patience and forethought, amirite?
One thing I know, though, is that their families are NOT going to let them live this down. Especially Misty's sisters. 'Cause what're siblings for? Hoo boy. 😅
Daisy was actually pretty fun to draw, especially her hair (if you can't tell). I didn't think too much and just did what I wanted. Maybe it came out too much like fur, but eh who cares (not me). 🤷♀️

6 day Pokeshipping Week: Disney AU
In breve:
Disney (Alice in wonderland) x Pokémon

Day 5: Nervous Ash
Following the letter handover, Ash seems to have cracked it open to see what Misty wrote for him. And by the looks of it, there's a lot to take in, emotionally speaking. Don't panic, Ash! You have the whole rest of summer vacation to think things through and give her the perfect response! Take your time, brainstorm it, and have it ready at the start of the new semester, bud. 👍
