I completely ramble dumped on my Bluesky but in the 3CLIPSE AU abstraction is a little bit like a sickness. The more someone gets close to abstracting the more their code gets eaten away and they become more unstable. Abstraction is both something they can choose, and sometimes it's not. Yada yada mental health struggles don't always feel like or are a choice and all COOL EYE MONSTERS YIPPIE

This is after falling out with Jax and also piecing together what happened to Ribbit and Kaufmo while trying to find hints on how to escape. She throws herself in the deep end as seeing it as a sacrifice makes it easier for her. As she continues to be on the brink of abstraction she's unable to sleep, as when she's unconscious she'll afraid she'll start abstracting so she just stops sleeping. It might be digital but mentally sleep deprivation is still a thing and she turns to alcohol to try to take the edge off enough to keep going.

this was more of a test than anything but I'm still super proud I finished it (despite it being quite messy) I've been super nervous to attempt something like this and for the longest time couldn't really wrap my head around comic planning. With this I'm sort of getting a process though!

Post episode 7 blow-up. Things don't immediately go to shit with Caine here, I feel like dragging out them all teaming together for more suffering and interpersonal drama :3 it also bothered me a lot how Pomni seemed to just give up, it felt uncharacteristic in a way and I want to explore that a little too.
