Dosewallips State Park has 5,500-feet of saltwater shoreline on Hood Canal and 5,400-feet of freshwater shoreline on either side of the Dosewallips River. Salt Creek Recreation Area in Port Angeles, WA is open year round. There are 90 premium campsites located on a bluff above the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Approximately 72 of the 90 campsites have a view of the water. The campground is naturally divided into two distinct areas. The first has 49 campsites in a relatively open area, all with outstanding views of the Strait. 39 of these sites have water and electrical hook-ups (30 and 50 amp) available.
