anyway i got sucked into this whole theme of friendship and creativity and when you find that one person that you just click with there's truly no other feeling like it. jay phrases it like an "adventure" or a "universe" and i think it speaks to them truly just living in their own little shared creative world that they get completely lost in. i also think it's interesting how he frames it like a promise to one another. like this thing will unite us and further our life journey, success, desires. like finding a way to always remain true to one another at the end of the day.

this makes me think of literally outside of ntb like every project they’ve worked on together since they were kids. all of the stuff that will never see the light of day, the mid-interview schemes, the matt and jay written in pen on a napkin, just all of it. it’s so cute
