miles: it's good to know you're a gossip but uh thanks for letting me know

Cam: huh?

“okay, but it’s not my fault you have no emotional intelligence!” arms crossed defensively over her chest. “and are you trying to get advice or dig yourself in a deeper hole?” lola paused a moment, nose wrinkled with disgust, before releasing her tension and shaking her head. “never even had a girlfriend?” she almost pitied him. almost. “tell you what. we can just start this over, and you explain to me what the thing with frankie is - and in return, i won’t blurt out any random, crazy stuff. okay?”

“ i told you what the thing is. multiple times. i just wanted to know some stuff she liked so that i could talk to her about something,” he tried to keep his voice steady, not wanting to show his frustration. “ i was fine with goats and ice cream but then you just started throwing insults at me and i -- ” he paused. take a breath, cam. “ i already felt stupid enough having to ask for help, you being crazy about stuff didn’t help anything. ”

Arlene: was rather thrilled whenever Cam agreed to go to the movie with her. Of course he probably would have any way considering that they were friends to begin with, but she couldn't help but think maybe something good could come out of this. Arlene texted Cam to just meet her at the movie, the two of them seeing a later showing on a school night was another exciting factor for her. She wasn't sure about Cam but, it was for her. When she arrived she went ahead and paid for both tickets so that they wouldn't have to worry about that when he got there. And this theater was one that also had recliner seats, so another great thing about it.

Dallas: gotta keep you on your toes

Dallas: she was tutoring me, cant play if i fail

Cam: by being sketch?

Dallas: yeah, but not one that im telling you about

Cam: well that doesn't sound sketchy at all

Cam: aren't you two friends now?

Dallas: just wondering is all

Arlene: i wouldn't say anything, but most things are definitely more fun.

Arlene: so i'll see you very soon?

Cam: /anything/.

Arlene: i feel like a movie would be a lot more fun than that.

Frankie: of course i do!

Frankie: you're funny and who else will sing along to hsm with me?

Cam: most people don't really say that

Arlene: how does tonight sound?

Cam: hopefully he just won't be around at all the next time

Arlene: that it is I think we can handle it. It’s not that long of a movie.

Miles: it wasn't meant for you. drop it.

Miles: no i didn't typo... but im pretty sure you did. no way he's into maya and lola.

Arlene: gotcha.

Arlene: so that’s okay even on a school night?
