Today, on the 2nd of September, as a poignant ring to end of the worst possible summer of our lives, I present to you the birther of good summers, the epitome of a summer, the story that I have lived through vicariously, the little comedy that has saved lives—“006, The Bi-ble” is available in paperback and e-book format on Amazon! Furthermore, I will be donating 5% of my bi-monthly royalties to the U.S. Soccer Foundation and 10% to the LGBT Foundation.

006 will no longer be available on AO3 or any other public social platform due to copyright, which I am infinitely sorry for, but it had always been my dream to polish this story to book format—and I have finally done it. 

When I finished the first draft years ago, I went outside to skate. Popped my earphones in, played my hand-picked melancholy-inducing playlist, and rolled through the neighborhood I grew up in. It was 19th of August, and the sun was just about to set. With the summer winding down, the air is more crisp, quite pronounced, weighs heavier than it does in early June.

My heart hurts when I think about this story. It is stupid that I feel so intensely about it, that I have made such an emotional investment into something that started out in 2011 as a blatant joke. At the same time, 006 has been my perfect outlet for the fleeting feelings you get as you slowly and irreversibly understand that you have grown up. 

To everyone who has been here since 2011: thank you for following me through this journey. I hope our ways cross many more times.

I turn 21 in a month. It is going to have been nine whole years of having this story in my heart.
