How many books do you have on your 'to-be-read' list? Technically only one (Temporada de Huracanes by Fernanda Melchor). I sometimes pick something up I've already read and drop whatever is in my tbr. And since I started rereading my favorite series (a total of 9 novels)...I may still have 8 more of those to go.
How many books do you have on your 'currently-reading' list? jfc. Apparently I have 10. I just checked. But those are all DNF. I'm really just reading Leviathan Wakes right now.
Do you mostly read through e-reader; reading app on phone; on your laptop; a physical copy; or by audiobook? Audiobook. I don't have much time to sit down and read. I listen to audiobooks at work the whole day (I bake for a living) or whenever I'm doing chores at home.
Name your favorite author(s). I'd go with James S.A. Corey (Ty Franck and Daniel Abrahams).
How often do you read by listening to audiobooks? Pretty much daily!

Do you wish the 30 year skip in the expanse books had made it to tv? Or are you content with the show ending?
I think it should've made it to tv. 100%.
There are so many mysteries that weren't resolved (the Builders, the Dark Gods, Duarte). When I first watched the show, I hadn't read the entire series. So, while the Marco Inaros plot came to a satisfying conclusion (heartbreaking for Naomi, her choice to sacrifice Filip is gut-wrenching and Dom's performance is insane) I was disappointed we didn't get more answers regarding the protomolecule and the Free Navy as the final boss is a bit meh.
After reading the series more than once and knowing how it ends, I do think Ty and Daniel did a great job planting the seeds for the Laconia arc if the show ever gets brought back. Including Cara and Xan's origin story from Strange Dogs was particularly smart.
I hope the upcoming videogame does well enough for people to watch the show/read the novels and maybe in a few years we can see the Roci crew again <3

Uh oh! Daddy's younger boss yelled at him today. GO BACK 3 SPACES.
Widow's Bay | Episode 2 - Lodging
consider the following scenario: you live in a quaint little village on a cursed island in new england. the mayor wants to turn it into the next big tourist destination, but you think this is a bad idea due to the aforementioned curse and all the associated supernatural bullshit. in order to prove that this isn’t a big deal the mayor offers to stay the night in the local inn, said to be haunted by several ghosts including a clown murderer and dead bride. you agree on the condition that he films himself and shows you the tapes in the morning to make sure he went through with it. upon reviewing the recordings he made and accompanying security footage you find him just riding the absolute shit out of the ghost of the clown murderer. going at it like crazy in every position all over the inn’s common space. how does this influence your opinion of the mayor?

Gracias!!!!

thinking about amos burton yet again, specifically how his default response to any sort of interpersonal conflict is to immediately suggest a fight and how he’s completely matter-of-fact and detached about it like it’s just a regular part of his daily life
and as a result most people incorrectly think he’s an unhinged maniac, when in reality, he’s just trying to solve the problem in the quickest and most efficient manner, it just so happens that the only way amos knows how to solve a problem is with his hands, namely his fists
but it’s not necessarily because he enjoys the violence, it’s because violence is the first language amos ever learned and it’s a language he speaks fluently, one that is a regular part of his daily life, whether he likes it or not, and now i need to go lay down before i start screaming into the void about this space mechanic again
he is such an endlessly fascinating character and i just think he’s neat, okay
And so it has the investigator. Of all the scars, there is one that came last. That is most intact. It is useful and so it is used.
