Who asked whom out on the first date? Well, it was...

Just natural. It happened so slowly without either of us realizing it.

The first three files in Liara’s curated collection were unsent emails. Shepard had drafted three messages before their meeting in Horizon in her failed attempts to reach out to him. The emails were similar in content but opposite in tone. While the first draft went on as much detail as she could give and each word was picked carefully -  Kaidan could’ve mistaken it for a mission report - the second draft was nothing but a picture of an old man shrugging his shoulders paired with white letters. It read “i guess i’ll live.”

In my head, Bioware gave me the option of becoming best friends with Kaidan after not getting back together with him (& it was fun!) (The only canon dialogue is the one from ME1)
