A short, dry laugh left the ex-assistant at the question, leaning back on his bench and staring upward in idle thought. What a way to word a question, thatâs for sure.

If he pointed it out, he would just be a hypocrite. After all, he had been down there himself a few times. Besides, it wasnât like he could really tell Habit that the Lounge - or mostly the alcohol - was a bad idea. Despite the both of them starting to mend whatever was broken between them, their footing wasnât equal.
