You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.

It’s strange, how people overlooked you in the halls. Nobody really cared about you, they barely even registered that you were so close to them. Yet, for me, you stood out in every crowd. I had a knack for spotting your tousled hair and pressed khakis. The whole world may never understand your significance, but I do. I did.
