I just spent about 24 with WestJet's Blue Santa as he crossed Canada from coast to coast, spreading random acts of kindness for the company's 12,000 Mini-Miracles Day. This was my favourite shot from the whole whirlwind experience. With apologies to @colleendenevephoto who has a very similar shot. She posted hers before me, so feel free to call me the copycat. We shared the sleigh as Santa and his helper went dogsledding in Yellowknife. #westjetchristmas

I thought I was just shooting a weather feature of a guy who had a thing for waterfowl. Then he told me what he was doing: "I'm making a video for my friend who is dying of cancer. She has lymphoma and probably only has a couple of weeks left. She's housebound now, but she used to like coming out here and watching the birds by the river. I figure this is something I can give her as the opiates start to take over her brain." #yyc #humansofcalgary

Attention to detail is crucial when you're prepping a car for the #WorldofWheels. Calgary's show goes Feb. 20-22 at the #BMOCentre.

This isn't exactly a car shot, but it is one of my favourites from shooting set-up day for the #WorldofWheels in #yyc. This guy was helping to build the Road Kill Cafe. The show goes Feb. 20-22 at the #BMOCentre.

This is the mailbox of @mdrewpix1 , whose unread emails date back to 2007. "They're mostly just things like Facebook notifications," he shrugged. "Oh, I guess I should go through them, but I kinda like seeing the number." Mike's priority is to look at nature, not his little phone screen. Maybe this is how all of our inboxes should look.
