Practicum is nothing like I thought it would be... IT'S BETTER!

For all of February, I am spending my practicum at Play103, Fort McMurray. It's already been a week, and I feel like I've learned sooo much. It's crazy!

I've been spending my morning's with Marina and John on Play103 Mornings. Marina always has a smile and isn't afraid to give feedback. John has so much energy, it's unbelievable.

It didn't take John very long to show me the board. (I guess he can't wait to go on vacation) Though, it's similar to the board we have at SAIT, he's taught me a few new tricks that I can't wait to try at school.

After four and a half hours of being On Air, I spend about two hours with Steve. He's the Morning Show Host and schedules the music for CruzFM.

Let me just say, it takes a lot of brain power to schedule music... I can't wait to start doing it ;)

After that, I voice track for the Midnight Show, 12am - 3am, and call a day.

I have to say, doing my practicum at my childhood radio station is amazing, nerve wrecking, and just unbelievable. Every single day, I wanna scream, dance, throw up, and dance some more.

I love this industry, and I can't imagine myself doing anything else.

Can't wait for next week!
