Caleb quickly turned around after hearing Nate’s voice, and rushed up to him. Something was clearly up.

He paused for a second, trying to steady his breathing.

and im not gonna sugar coat it… im in a lot of pain right now…

He tightened the grip on his arm, pulling at his sleeve and leaving little marks on his skin.

it all happened so fast- I don’t know… I think my tail might be broken… maybe my wings too-

His breathing picked up pace again.

He paused, watching the other intently. 

      >Um.. ok, here, let’s get you to the bathroom to clean up.

He grabs one of the others hands to lead him.

He let go of his arm, no longer digging into his skin, but not digging into Caleb’s either.

He followed the exploiter, squeezing his hand when the pain intensified.

When they got to the bathroom he led the other onto the floor to sit, and he immediately got to work, searching cabinets for some kind of first aid.

    >Do you want some pain medicine..? We probably have something around here.. 

He found a small little kit full of supplies and dampened a towel, handing it over to Nate. 

He goes to reach his tail, touching it slightly with the towel, his tail flinching when they meet.

If you do find any pain meds, I’ll take them…

Still rummaging through a cabinet, Caleb continues, trying his best to get the pain Nate is feeling off his mind.

As the light died down, Caleb’s head would perk up, his eyes meeting the other in front of him.

It was weird, he hadn't seen Isaac in years, his anger toward him became more of a neutral feeling over time, but seeing him again, he didn't know what he felt. Maybe it was pity? But that still didn't feel right.
