My new main - don’t use this anymore

honestly fucks me up that when ppl see me, my face goes through the filter of their perception (curated by their very specific life experiences n their unique point of view). basically if i truly saw myself with someone else's brain, i probably wouldn't realize who i was looking at. my eyes don't mean the same to others as they do to me. everyone reads each other in a new way and it's so uncontrollable

I’m kind of horrified that so few articles about the fires in Brazil are mentioning the indigenous women’s march and indigenous people on the frontlines and occupying Brazilian government offices. Indigenous resistance to the destruction is happening, this isn’t being passively accepted.

Understand that certain spaces are not meant for you and act accordingly. I don’t know if it was the alienation experienced in high school or what, but you are not owed anything in spaces built by and for specific groups. Especially when it is obvious that it is not the actual humanity of said group you are interested in, but rather in making sure you aren’t left out, again.
