Rugby Tackle! Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was collected from me and taken to the Isle of Wight for the wedding on 18 July 2015 Three tiers of Coconut and Lime, Chocolate Mud Cake and Raspberry and Vanilla sponges. The bride and groom toppers are dressed in their wedding attire.

Vibrant colours for a summer wedding!

We delivered this cake at the end of June on a beautifully sunny day, to the Marsham Court Hotel near the seafront in Bournemouth.

A favorite of my customers is the birdcage wedding cake and this one reflected the colour of the bridesmaid dresses. The reception was held at the Langton Arms

This beautiful peony and lace cake was delivered to the Italian Villa, Poole in Dorset. Every tier consisted of dark chocolate mud cake, even the mini cake was a gluten free dark chocolate mud cake! The peonies are made of sugar and the cake was decorated with edible lace.

This cake was delivered to the Tudor Grange in Bournemouth and each tier was finished in white chocolate ganache. Cake flavours were chocolate mud cake, raspberry and vanilla, and pina colada. The swans topper were made in royal icing and the design came from the wedding invitations.  

My first wedding cake for May was delivered to the heart of the New Forest at Rhinefield House. The room was beautifully decorated and the cake matched the colour and theme of the wedding. I finished assembling the cake at the venue. The cake tiers were red velvet, zesty lemon and dark chocolate mud cake and was topped with bride and groom toppers dressed outfits that matched the bride and groom.

I recently designed a new wedding cake to match the them of Knighton House Wedding and Events open weekend. All the flowers are hand crafted out of sugar. 

Our latest wedding cake to go out at the end of March was a little different! Three different flavours, coffee, chocolate mud cake and raspberry and vanilla all encased in chocolate ganache and sugar paste. All the models are hand made out of sugar paste and pastillage.

Jemima Puddleduck Christening Cake

This has to be one of my favourite cakes to date. My first hand painted cake of watercolour hollyhocks with additional sugar paste hollyhocks to give it a multidimensional feel.

The cakes were lemon sponge with homemade lemon curd and lemon buttercream. They were coated in a layer white chocolate ganache and a final layer of sugar paste.

The latest in my collection and is an ivory coloured wedding cake decorated with lace, pearls and broach – all edible! It attracted many compliments at the show. We had a fantastic time and spoke to many future brides and grooms about their dream cake.

Chocolate Mud cake with dark chocolate ganache and a lemon cake with homemade lemon curd are the two cakes that make up this 2 tier birthday cake.
