Some Headcanon on Ah puch xilbalbá

Facial scar: After his village was invaded by intruders aka Missionaries. He suffered immense pain from their brutality.

Face mask: The face mask was actually attached to his face but (Details ahead) the metal plate was heated and placed on his face and y'know... The reason or my Headcanon on why he has a void face.

Also he mostly breathes heavily because of the mask he wears that is securely tight to his face.

I know Ah puch's face is canonically a void, but I like to think that he has a face before the thing and none or a void face after moving to the astral circle.

A LOT of insight about this TNMN animation I'm working on (& some sneak peeks)

1. Music

Yahoo I can put use my music I've made to usage:

1st, a snippet of this plays when chaugnar appears (at this point let it be his theme ig)

2nd, Goofy song that WAS part of a back & forth between Dagda / Izanami, that part was ultimately shortened & I removed the song (too advanced for me to animate)

2. Characters

Stuff about the characters appearing (not in order):

Xezbet (centers around him)

Dagda needs to hide away

Drugia appears for like 8 seconds

Zoth finally addresses the elephant in the room <3

Izanami appears

Chaugnar is adressed <3

Nyogtha gets jumpscared

Yan Luo is the greatest help (sarcasm intended). Also she speaks but does not physically appear.

Orcus WAS going to exist, then CTRL deleted.

For Yanluo... it's HARD for me to go for high pitch feminine voice.

I can't edit it bc it'll make me sound like that disgusting rat from the nutshack.

I asked the discord server what are people's voices for Yan Luo, I can't replicate any of what I was told so... her voice is me trying my best (also raw, unedited.)

Info on a TNMN animatic animation I’m working on

+ this blog from now on is going to be JUST for TNMN and my original stuff will be kicked somewhere else.

So I’ve been working on a TNMN animation that includes sound design. I just now finished the final audio (I didn’t realize how complicated mix and mastering audio gets, dang.)

The audio includes random clips, and, oh,

I’m also voice acting most of the characters :)

The animation is around 5,000 frames and is almost 4 minutes. That’s when I realized how ambitious this project is, so it’ll take a good while. And I’m an adult with a million responsibilities, I just hope I can complete this soon so I can work on other projects.

It started out as just a continuation to this short video of sliding images I made for giggles that I posted on the TNMN subreddit a while ago:

I guess now it’s gonna be some fully fledged animation. I made sure Chaugnar is bass boosted in the animation!

Uhhhhmm an update…

First of all,

This focuses around Xezbet (it still includes the continuation of that previous thing)

Second,

- I changed a lot of the script

- I’m incorporating some elements of film that I learned from an intro course to film production

- Im also placing some bits of my original music to INCREASE the emotion *hands swinging around* (my strong suit is music composition/production so eh)

- ‼️I’ve just started uni after transferring. I took a gap year to complete a separate film certificate (which I didn’t get to complete :/) so schooling can’t brain in my right now drrr. (Basically saying I have less time)

- The style of animation will most likely be 90’s inspired … maybe…

This WILL take longer to make, I put HIGH expectations on myself for this (beyond my skill set.) I’m putting a lot of skills I’ve learned (even learning) to use!!!!
