About Me:
I always have been interested in music from such a young age and age the of 15 I decided that I wanted to become a music producer while also doing music arranging, songwriting & composing. I know how to play Piano and I play various middle eastern percussion instruments.Â
Main Musical Skills:
My main skills as a Pianist is that I am very good at improvising and I am always devoted in to a giving a %100 performance with my instrument. I am also to manage to play by ear so I donât find it that hard to find melodies and chord progressions.Â
Previous Musical Experience:
I have been a musician since the age of 5 so I do have some experience in performing even though Iâm interested in the technology side of the industry. I was always invited up to play live at weddings & other family events. In the school band that I was in we did a couple of gigs at a theatre and as a result we decided to record a E.P which I consisted of 5 tracks which I helped with the recording and producing as well as playing piano on the tracks. As a music technician I have experience in studio work as a generally record people at my mini home studio.
Education:
Meopham School:Â 2007-2009
Rowhill School:Â 2009-2011
North West Kent CollegeLevel 3 extended diploma in music technology:Â 2011-
Bio
For as long as I can remember I have always been surrounded by music a lot of people in my family and extended family were musicians & I was always fascinated by instruments. Â
I started learning to play instruments at the age of 5 years old, I was taught how to play a Turkish percussion instrument called the Darbuka by one of my uncles who also taught me various other percussion instruments. With my Darbuka I used to perform at family weddings, birthday parties & gatherings.
At the age of 10 I developed a interest in Piano and the age of 12 I saved up some money and bought a keyboard at first I started to learn simple melodies then chords by again I would go to weddings or gatherings with my family and play for them.Â
At the age of 15 I started doing one to one music lessons and I would start composing songs on the schoolâs Macbook on Garageband and I was fascinated by writing my own songs and recording them so I decided to purchase a iMac and some music software to see if I wanted to do producing as a profession.Â
After about a 2 months I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in the music industry as a Music Producer I was also very interested in becoming a songwriter/composer & Music Arranger.Â
At the age of 15 I decided to join the Miskin Theatre so I could learn more as a performer and technician. I started off on the performing side of the industry then decided to move on to the tech side so I could train and become a better music producer.Â
At college I hope to learn more about microphone placement, how to mix better & how to Master my tracks. There are a lot of careers you can access through music technology But Iâm mostly interested in producing and arranging.
After college I think I would prefer to get a job in a studio or something similar.Â

Soul Music Presentation.
Leading artists for Soul
Leading Artists
There were a lot of leading artists for Soul & Gospel. For example one of the leading artists for Soul was Sam Cooke who is considered as one of the founders of Soul music & is commonly known as the King Of Soul.

His contributions to Soul music led to the rise of very famous Soul singers such as Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack, Otis Redding & James Brown.
Another one of the leading artists who was also a producer was Smokey Robinson who wrote & produced some of Soul musicâs famous hits, with songs such as âWhoâs Loving Youâ, âTracks Of My Tearsâ. He was also a founder of one of Motownâs most famous group âThe Miraclesâ

Leading Producers
One of the main producers for Soul music was definitely Berry Gordy who was the founder of one of the biggest record labels in the world
In 1959 Gordy founded the company âTamlaâ with an idea to record âthe sound of young Americaâ. In 1961 Gordy then created a record label named Motown which would perform the Soul music that he had hoped to sell.

Another one of soul musicâs leading producers was Jerry Wexler who was a journalist turned music producer he normally worked with singers like Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett & Aretha Franklin

Alfresko Misko Disco Rehearsals & De-Brief Questions
By the 7th May everyone knew that the next project was for the end of year gig and everyone had decided which band we was going to be in gig. I was with the intermediates who were Me, Brad, Rachel, Sally, Sean, Ryan & Tom. Later on we realised we needed another singer for harmonies and backing vocals since we only had one singer, So we got Sarah to sing in our band & Jamie to play Bass. After this Rachel decided that she would write down a list of songs and that everyone would  choose a song from the list that we would like to cover in the end the songs we chose were "Holiday" by Green Day, "Pack Up" By Eliza Doolittle & Price Tag by Jessie J.Â
The next day we started rehearsing our songs, Â at first it started with the musicians just getting used to the timing of the songs. Â some members struggled a bit with the timing on Holiday since they did not bother learning the songs at home. We didn't get alot of rehearsing done since lots of people wondered off on breaks without letting the others in the group know which annoyed me a little since we could not get a lot of rehearsing done, during the rest of the week we managed to learn Price Tag but we still struggled with Holiday.
The week after we had to show our songs in the venue, I was not very confident with doing Holiday but we did it anyway, In my opinion the song did not go very well timing wise so we decided to cut the song after everyone else suggested that we should drop it. After this we performed Price Tag & Pack Up which i thought went really well.

Me & my band Performing Price Tag.
For the rest of the week we continued to rehearse our songs, We still did not get a lot of rehearsing done since some band members kept on going on cigarette breaks and wandering off without telling anyone were they were going.
The week after Me, Sally Rachel, & Sarah decided with Jamie that we wanted to perform Mama Do by Pixie Lott so first we got Dannie as the drummer then we all decided to rehearse that when others went on breaks. A couple of days after we had to performed our songs in the venue again We started with Price Tag, and then we performed Pack Up. The Crowd said that they really liked the songs but some said we needed harmonies on Price Tag so Ant added Iona to do some harmonies. Â After we performed Mama Do, Â

My other band performing "Mama Do".
Later during the week one of the drummers of the band decided to leave the course so we got Dannie to replace him and we put her on 2 songs "Price Tag" & "Pack Up"  and also we came up with a new band name we all decided on the name "Dysfunksional".  A week after we started to learn "Summer Paradise" By Simple Plan at first we all sat down and listened to the song so we could learn the chords, and for the singers to listen to how to sing it, after listening to it for a couple of times we all decided to play without the track. When we started playing it everyone was out of time with eachother and the singing wasn't great but since it was the first try we kept on trying to make it sound good so after playing for about 5 times we realised that maybe it was to late to learn a song so in the end we decided to cut it. The day after we had to run through the show so we could get used to our orders and stuff like that, at first we performed Pack Up which sounded good, I messed up a couple of times but I managed to recover and cover it up. Price Tag had no problems and neither did Mama Do. A couple of hours later our Guitarist & our second drummer was taken off the show so we got Sean as our new guitarist at first it took a little time to get used to the chords and the changes but he got it right in the end. Since our second drummer was taken off the show we just got Dannie to play Pack Up aswell as the other 2 songs.
 7/6/13
Today was the day of the gig in my opinion the gig didn't go the well Musically everything was fine it was the fact that not a lot of people turned up It really annoyed me because I always go to acting shows and dance shows and when I realised that none of the dancers turned up it really annoyed me. Like I said Musically everything went well for us the only problem was for me was that I could not hear myself playing that well. Other than that musically all of our songs were really good.
                      De Brief Questions:
How Did Your Performance Go Was Their Any Problems?
Well in my opinion the performance went really well, but their were some problems like one of the guitarsts forgot the chords to the song "Pack Up" so we had to quickly remind her, and also the drummer forgot the timing halfway through the song "Mama Do" other than that i would not say there were problems.Â
Would you change your material?
Personally I would not change our songs because they were really popular and people enjoy them.
What Problems Did You Have?
As a group we had lots of arguments and problems, like certain members of the band kept on going on cigarette breaks halfway through rehearsals without telling anyone there lots of arguments between people in the band, Â and people not practicing their parts in the song. Also there was one argument between me and one of the singers but we managed to sort it out after.
