Stories:
The Myth of Osiris
When Isis's brother Set murdered Osiris and scattered his body, Isis searched the world, gathering every piece. With her magic and her love, she reassembled him, breathed life into him, and conceived their son Horus. She then hid in the marshes of the Delta, protecting Horus from Set until he was old enough to claim his father's throne. This myth made Isis the ultimate model of loyal wifehood, protective motherhood, and magical power used in service of love and justice.
The Great Magician
Isis desired the supreme power of the sun god Ra. She collected the saliva that dripped from his mouth, mixed it with earth, and shaped a sacred snake that bit him. As Ra writhed in agony, Isis promised to heal him but only if he revealed his secret, true name. By learning this name, Isis gained mastery over all creation, becoming Weret-Hekau, "Great of Magic." This story shows her not just as a healer and protector, but as a seeker of profound wisdom.
