河内藤園 💜 (at Wisteria Tunnel, Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu, Japan.)
9 years in Japan!!! 🎌
She is a paradox. She is committed and yet relaxed. She is committed and yet relaxed. She loves everyone, and yet no one. She is sociable and also a loner. She is gentle and yet tough, she is passionate but also platonic. In short she is predictable in her own unpredictability

March 12, 2016. Big day!!! Two years went by in a blink. I'm really happy and thankful for everything and everyone who helped me along the way. In those two short years, I met my BBFs, learned from my awesome profs, experienced new stuff, and grew up.
Here comes the flashback...
First day of class, I was worried I wouldn't make any friends... little did I know. Fourth period, English class, I went inside the classroom and looked around. There were lots of people inside already, and I didn't know where I should sit. I saw this one girl smiling at me, and I thought she seems nice, so I sat in front of her. I was thinking of how am I going to approach her when I heard people speaking in Filipino behind me. I turned around in an instant and said, "You're Filipino?!" and the rest is history.
I can still remember how excited I was to move out and live independently, and on my first night alone at my apartment I bawled my eyes out. I was living with my big family, and all of a sudden I was alone. All I could think was "What was I thinking?!" I wanted to move back home the next day. But, I got used to the silence. I convinced myself that everything will be okay, and if I ever get homesick, home is just 2-hour train ride away, I can go home anytime. Two years later, I am back home. To be honest, I'm kinda missing my privacy and the silence of my apartment. Kidding!
Second and last year in college, two of my friends and I joined the IES class. Lots of essay writing, but our classes were so fun. There was never a dull class, and I feel like I learned something new in every class. Our profs gave us a lot of interesting topics to think about, and we would still continue to talk about it after we leave the room. Learning is so fun!
I have so much more I want to write about my college life, but I'll save it for next time (If I ever remember). Anyway, back to our graduation day. I had to get up at 5am, left the house at 6, and made it to our hair and makeup appointment by 8:30. We grabbed a quick breakfast after, eating while walking to our next appointment. lol! I was the first one to finish getting dressed up. The dress was so tight that I could barely breathe, but it looked very pretty, so I didn't mind. The ceremony didn't start until 2:30pm, and we were so hungry because we couldn't eat wearing our kimonos. We finally went inside the auditorium, had to stand up and sit down a lot during the ceremony which was really difficult to do because of our tight dresses. The ceremony didn't take long. It took less than an hour, I think. We didn't even get on stage. My friends left right after the ceremony because they wanted to return their kimonos right away. My mom and dad on the other hand, wanted to take more pictures of me, so we stayed behind. Took a lot of pictures and walked around the campus one last time before we finally went home. It was such a long and exhausting day, but it's all worth it.
We made it!!! Cheers to us! :)

I am so bad at blogging. So... 2016 is halfway over. What have I been doing with my life? Well, since my last post, I have graduated from uni. That's it. That's the only thing worth mentioning lol! All joking aside, I was actually planning to go and stay at my aunt's in Australia for a few months but shit happens. Oh well. Now, back to reality. I have to find a job SERIOUSLY. I kept saying I will, but I never do. Probably because deep inside, I still want to go to Australia :( But I am broke and unemployed, it's not the right time to take a vacation. HA!
Tons of pics and long overdue posts coming up!!!

Happy New Year!!!
Time flies by so fast. I still can’t believe it’s already 2016, and that January is almost halfway over.
Anyway, I need to update my blog again, but first, I just wanna say that today’s January 11th. Which means it’s Coming-of-Age day. It’s basically the Japanese equivalent of “debut” in the Philippines with a little difference. Japanese people celebrate it when they turn 20 the year before. The ceremony is usually held at the city hall, I think. Why am I talking about it when I didn’t even go to my mine? Well, I just saw some pics that my friend from middle school posted, and they all looked so beautiful. (Also, I spotted my middle school crush in one of the pics.) I was actually invited but I reminded them that I’m a year older, then I stopped responding to their messages (oops 😅) I kinda Twitter/FB stalked my middle school schoolmates, and I saw a pic of them with my former homeroom teacher. If I only knew that she was coming, I would've stopped by to say hi. After the ceremony at the city hall, they went to the town hall for a private gathering which is 5 mins away from my house (!!!) Okay, I'm going to admit it. I'm kinda jellyyy 🙈
Gonna scroll through my camera roll and see what I can post.
