I don't know if anyone has commented on this before or anything like that, it might seem silly but I have a headcanon that they're related ( uncle and nephew );

[ Just to let you know, the ninth one is kinda gross ];

The butterflies on his hat are alive, they just like to stay there.

He reads those gossip and fashion magazines, and clearly he’ll criticize clothing and color palettes choices that he finds bad.

His relationship with other cult members is kinda complicated. Some hate him, some are afraid//uncomfortable with him and others don't really care about him either.

To make matters worse for Ignacio, Chrysalis is his neighbor, unfortunately. [ Ignacio hates him ];

He actually knows Lila and Skid, because he knows that they are related to the leader, he’s friends with Lila [ or at least pretends to be ];

In terms of butterfly feeding, Chrysalis feeds on nectar from any flower, fruits and mostly liquids, also he can eat human food.

He's sweet tooth, he has soft spot on pastries and bakes, his favorite is cream puff [ give him cream puffs with a cup of tea and maybe he’ll spare your life ];

When one of his butterflies dies, Chrysalis hangs them in a frame on a wall in a room as kind of memorial or something.

He hates lovey-dovey stuff and can't have loving//romantic feelings because it makes him “slightly” sick and have butterflies in his stomach [ literally, no pun intended ], it’s painful for him when he vomit them.

Although he cannot feel these feelings, Chrysalis can flirt, but only to tease and joke around, and does not take it seriously.

Despite his bastard behavior, he can be polite, so polite that he will apologize for being rude for not introducing himself, breaking into the house and entering with dirty shoes; Sadistic bastard? Yes. Unpolited? Never.

About him;

A cultist whose role is to collect information, Chrysalis creates and controls his butterflies for this purpose, they observe everything around the town as if they were discreet cameras and collect information for him;

Chrysalis' origin is unknown, his past is unknown which leaves some theories; In human disguise, he’s known as Christopher/Chris Morpho, obviously no one knows about his true identity except the cult;

He works at the local flower shop to hide his job in the cult, he and Ravenelle don't get along very well, Chrysalis likes to strike her nerves and tease her, while Ravenelle hates his guts so bad and tries to hold back from kicking his ass;

Chrysalis is a good liar, knows how to deceive people and gain their trust in the palm of his hand, cunning, mischievous, sadistic and sarcastic;

About his skills; In addition to his skill to shapeshift, control and communicate with butterflies, Chrysalis can disperse his body into a swarm of butterflies and escape from the troubles he himself causes;

So, what do I have to say about her? Well, her name’s Ravenelle, Raven or Nelle for short, she’s around 25-26 years old, Raven is related to Kevin, they’re cousins. She’s chill but can be scary when she’s angry. She works at a local flower shop. She’s interested in botany and taxidermy, and of course, she likes to collect animal bones and skulls.

And I may or may not ship her with an certain exterminator heheheh/silly
