I’m quitting Tumblr. I’m afraid I no longer have the time or money to keep this blog running (I’m trying to switch jobs at the moment, and move places)

I’m really very sorry to leave the fandom and all of you! Thank you all for the amazing years I’ve had on here, I’ll miss everyone so much!

I won’t delete the blog in case the archives can be of some use to others.

I’m driving - well, all right, “being driven” - to Wales tomorrow morning, so please reblog with a guess of how many yellow cars I’ll see on the way…as with last time, nearest answer gets a Cabin Pressure postcard!

The journey back will be just as long as the journey to our holiday house, just much much less exciting. So I might as well postcard another person!

Send in your best guesses for the amount of yellow cars we see on our 5.5 hour journey. For reference, we saw exactly 40 when we made the reverse journey a week ago.

I’ll leave this open ‘til 7:00am GMT tomorrow (22nd February)… After that, the closest guess wins a postcard!

So fandot… I have an idea. 

As you may have already guessed, this idea involves a lemon. 

Well, a picture of a lemon. It might get messy if we tried it with an actual lemon, unfortunately. International post will do that to unprotected fruit.

It boils down to this:

I get a card printed with a lemon on the front of it. I will include instructions in the card, and I will write my (approximate) location on it - I will not include my name or details of my address - just the country and maybe the area (county, state, city, etc.).

I will then post the card to someone else. This person adds their own location - again, no name and no specifics, you can be as vague as you like. (You can also add a personal message if you want, but it’s not a requirement!)

This person may, if they wish, take photographs and post them on here (or to the Facebook group or Twitter profile I may make if this goes ahead) so we can all see the lemon’s progress.

The person now posts the lemon on to someone else, who writes down their location…

You get the picture. 

If you received the card but had no one to send it on to, I would hopefully be able to act as mediator to match you up with someone else willing to pass on their address. No one will be pressured into giving away any details they do not wish to, to anyone, including me.

I think it would be amazing to see how far we could get it, just by posting it to fellow fans around the world.

At the moment I’m just trying to gauge interest to see if it’s worth trying; this is still very much in the draft stages… so who’s with me? Please like/reblog this post/send me a message to let me know!
