We do what we want in this household

Keigo is tired, to put it simply. He supposes that it is to be expected when your whole job is to work as a Pro Hero, but c’mon, there are literally hundreds of other heroes, where were they?! Even the smallest help could make a big difference.

Eh whatever, all that is important now is that he’s home with his mate, his husband.

“Touya, I’m home!” Keigo yelled out as he entered the apartment. 

“Hey, welcome back, birdie,” Touya responds, “I’m in the kitchen!”

Keigo came to the kitchen, wings fluffing at the sight of the love of his life, the beautiful male with ethereal white hair and striking blue eyes with attention-grabbing piercings and a slight bit of scarring that elated the more primal side of his quirk, it looks like mating patterns. He can never get over the fact that Touya chose him of all people.

He cooed at the scent, wings ruffling, “Smells good, hotstuff. What’re you making?”

“Just simple curry katsu, nothing complicated,” Touya answered as Keigo came up behind him and wrapped his hand around his waist with a chirp after hearing what the menu was.

“Go shower first, bird brain. You’re still dusty from that rescue mission at noon.” Touya shoves Keigo’s face away from his neck with a lighthearted grumble, and Keigo responds with a pout, holding tighter, “So mean.” This makes Touya push him away more vigorously, and Keigo laughs in response.

“Alright, alright. Calm your horses.” He made his way into the bedroom to look for his clothes when Touya yelled from the kitchen again, “Your clothes are on the bathroom counter, by the way!” 

“Thanks luv!”

“You alright, birdie?” Touya asked, not long after they started dinner. Touya noticed how Keigo wasn’t touching his food much, just staring blankly into space. 

“Keigo?” 

He chirped at that, “Huh, what’s up sweets?” Touya makes a face at the pet name.

“What?” Keigo tilts his head in confusion.

Touya shook his head, “You know I don’t like those ones you use on your fangirls. So, you do have something on your mind.” Touya stares at him head-on. Keigo winces.

“Nothing bad, I swear I’m fine.” Keigo started. Touya makes a motion with his hand.  Go on, “It’s just small   things today. So, don’t worry about it, kay?” He deflected, clearly failing miserably. 

Touya sighs, lowering his head and putting his utensils down with a soft clank, “Keigo…”

Oh no, not that tone.

Touya could literally ask him for anything, and he’ll try his darn best to fulfill it.

Touya stood up from his seat across Keigo and went beside him.

“Keigo, look at me,” Touya said as he cradled Keigo’s face in his hand, oh so gently. He gave a low coo.

“Remember our vows? For better, for worse. We stick together, support one another. You don’t have to do this alone.” 

“Fine, fine. But it really is stupid.” Keigo took a deep breath before exhaling, steeling his nerves.

“I really am just tired. The photoshoot this morning took ages to finish. Then I had my patrol to chase down a purse snatcher in Endeavour’s territory, and had to watch out for his stray attacks from hitting the civies. Had my lunch, sure, but then I was called for a rescue operation in the nearby district. My quirk helped but…”

Keigo choked up, bird sounds escaping from his throat, a form of exhaustion that had been building for weeks finally rearing its ugly head. 

“There’s just so many bodies in the aftermath of that seismic villain attack. If only I had been in that area when the attack happened, instead of just doing nothing, sitting there eating lunch.”

Silence settled for a moment in the apartment, Keigo bracing for what his mate’s response would be as Touya mulled over his answer. 

“You’re human too, birdie,” Touya said softly, moving in to wrap his arms around him. “You need a break too, you don’t have to be everywhere at the same time. You continue this? You’ll drop, and a villain can easily get their hands on you.” Touya tightens his hug on Keigo.

“I don’t want to lose you.” 

Keigo exhaled a breath he didn’t know he was holding. “I wish that I could take it easy. The world keeps on going even when I stop, Tou. Japan still needs their number 2 hero.” Touya grumbled at that, “What’s the point of having hundreds of heroes when their workload is all dumped on the top 10s…”

He let out a tired laugh, “Dunno love, I dunno…”

Touya tightened his hug on Keigo one last time before letting go and going back to his seat. “Finish up, darling. Maybe we can do something after this to get you to relax a little?” He asked, his tone a bit hesitant. Keigo perks up a little, “Sure, what do you have in mind?” Touya’s face reddens.

“You’ll see.”

“This was not what I thought in my head when you-” Keigo cut off with a groan, “when you said you had something to make me relax.” He finished, huffing in restraint, trying to hold back more of his groans from the feeling of Touya being flushed with him, hip to hip, as his mate tried to move against him once more. Keigo let out a groan he could not hold back. His wings spread and flutter, movement erratic, mirroring the pleasure he felt as Touya tightens around him.

“You are enjoying it, aren’t you?” Touya asked in a teasing tone, his breath huffing after going down on his husband, but his eyes showed his worries.

“I am, just surpri- AH-” Keigo was about to answer when Touya grinds down hard on him and leans down to kiss his chest, slowly and meticulously going up to his neck, marking him, before leaning to his ear,

“Well then, love. Just lay down and relax, I’ll take care of everything.” Touya hummed. Keigo can only give a small flustered chirp before his head was tossed back in pleasure.

Hawks returned to work with a bounce on his step, seemingly happier than when he clocked out yesterday. His sidekicks are all eyeing him suspiciously when Hawks greets them with a grin that reaches his eyes. 

Hawk’s sidekick supervisor, Pro Hero Songbird, a woman with a lyrebird quirk, squints at him, Keigo didn’t notice. Her eyes narrow.

Sora, a younger, newer sidekick, pipes up, “Yo, boss man! What got you all jolly and shit? Did an angel give you the perfect coffee or something?” He got jabbed on the side by the others.

“Wha..?” Hawks looks at them before shaking his head, “Nah, just got a fun night, that’s all.” He answered. He swore he heard someone mutter “Fun night, sure let’s call it that.” under their breath, which he ignored. Going to his table and checking in before going on patrol.

“Alright, imma head out for patrol. Don’t forget that meeting we have in the afternoon, yea? Gather the others for it too, it’s for this month’s review.” He pipped, walking towards the exit, fluffing his flight jacket before going, “See ‘ya later!” Then he took off to the sky.

Most of the other sidekicks are all silent before Songbird mentions something, “Guys, I'm not hallucinating in the fact he's got a hickey, right?” That broke the floodgates open.

“Nah nah, I saw it too.”

“Dude, I thought we’re just supposed to stay silent about it.”

“Who do you think did it?”

“I mean, you do know that Hawks is married, right?”

“Wait- WHAT?!”

“I thought it was obvious with the phone calls, the bentos, and all.”

“Guys,” Songbird cut out, “that hickey is on a noticeable spot.” she finished.

. . .

“Welp- that’s the PR department’s job, I guess. Poor dudes, always overworked.” Sora shakes his head in condolences. Songbird can only drag her hand down her face at that. Stupid chicken.

PRO HERO HAWKS SPOTTED WITH A HICKEY

Japan’s very own number one Bachelor for 3 years in a row, our Pro Hero Hawks, the number 2 hero, was spotted with a hickey on his lower jaw near his left ear. Pro Hero Hawks has been nominated as the number 1 hottest and most desirable pro hero in recent decades, so now we are left wondering; who’s the lucky lady that has caught the Bachelor’s heart? Or was it just a fling?

“So uhh…” Hawks started, but cut his words as soon as Songbird looked at him, “Yeah, so that happened.” Songbird raises her brow.

“So what do you wanna do, boss? We gotta tell the PR which way we’re going with this. The HPSC also called about it.” She explains, Hawks winces at the latter info.

“I’ll have to chat with my husband about what he wants to do with this first,” Hawks said, pulling out his phone, ignoring the shocked whispers of “husband?!” around him.

Keigo looks up from his phone, surprised by the stares everyone gave him. Some in curiosity and some in a “well?” manner. He exhales and says, “He said he’s okay with us being revealed to be married, just not who he is. He’s a civilian.”

The head of the PR department nodded his head, and his assistant took notes. Songbird gains his attention with a fake cough, “You know that everyone and their parents will want to find out who your husband is, right? We all know how crazy some stans can be.” she said grimly. 

Hawks nodded, “We know. It was already a possibility that we had talked about.” ‘Plus, with the fact that he already knows how to deal with publicity early on because of his father, I feel like we’re good.' Keigo thought to himself.

“With that out of the way, let’s get to this month’s review,” Songbird says, moving on to the next topic of the meeting.

 ─ ⊹ ⊱  ঌ𓅓 ঌ𓅓 ঌ  ⊰ ⊹ ─

After last night’s activity, Touya decided to take it easy for the day and do his analyst work for the police. After he was done, he rested on the couch, watching a movie as he ate lunch. He hasn’t touched his phone much the whole day, mostly just answering messages about his commissions from the police for his analyst, feedback, and questions. And of course, his message from Keigo.

It made him chuckle when he thought about it, but oh well, what’s done is done. 

Touya jumped in surprise at the loud ringing coming from his phone. He wasn’t expecting anyone, and the phone was only put to ring when it was an emergency, family, or work. It seems it was from an unknown number, but he answers anyway.

“Hello?” Touya said to the phone

“Good afternoon, is this Takami Touya?” The person asked on the other end.

“Yeah? What happened?” He asked back, starting to get worried.

“We would like to give you a warning about your recent action on one of our members.” They answered.

“Wait, hold up. Who are you? What action? Are you able to clarify on that?” Touya protested in confusion.

“I am the representative of the Hero Public Safety Commission.” They finally introduced themselves.

“The recent action in question is the fact that you gave a mark to one of our members, and that mark was visible when he was in action. While it is not our business what our assets do privately with their significant other, we would like to notify you to refrain from doing actions that leave a visible mark. They represent us as an organization and protectors of society; it would leave a bad impression on the youth.” 

“Ah… I see” 

That was the only thing Touya could say that wouldn’t embarrass him further. His face was bright red, practically glowing against his pale complexion. He took a shaky breath and exhaled to calm his nerves, not that it worked. 

“I deeply apologize for that, commissioner. It won’t happen again.” Touya muttered to his phone, still mortified at the fact that the HPSC had to send their REPRESENTATIVE to call him.

“I’m sure.” They said in their usual monotone voice, “Have a good day, Mr. Takami.” Then they hung up.

Touya stared blankly at a random corner of the apartment, phone held limply in his hand. He decided to lie down on the couch, grab a pillow, and mash his face into it, screaming at the top of his lungs.

When he runs out of energy, he decides to pull out his phone and chat with his brother, he needs to let this out.

Later that night, Keigo arrived back at the apartment with a greeting screech. He expected to be greeted by his love as he usually would be. So he was confused when he didn’t get one.

“Tou?” He yelled to the apartment as he hung his flight jacket at the coat hanger. Keigo walks around the home, looking for Touya.

Unintelligible sounds can be heard from the bedroom, so he went there and opened the door, entering the space. “Touya? What happened?” Keigo asked, a tad bit worried.

More unintelligible sound came from his mate, who was lying face down on the mattress, muffling all his noises. 

“Can you repeat that? What happened?” He chirped, still confused.

“An HPSC rep called me.” Touya answered, still muffled by the pillow he’s lying on.

“Wait- WHAT?!” Keigo squawked in surprise, “What do you mean? They just called you out of the blue?”

Touya nodded, face still planted into the pillow, before he righted himself into facing the ceiling, “Yeah, they just called me in the afternoon. Told me that I should watch myself on how I mark you, showing it to the public and all. Y’know, the influence of heroes,” his voice grumbled near the end, face flushing in embarrassment, remembering the conversation once again.

Keigo hops onto the bed, goes beside Touya, and lies beside him, eyes looking at his lover's face. “You okay?” He asked with a soft coo. Touya looked at him and exhaled, closing his eyes before turning to his side, body facing Keigo now, “I guess? It was embarrassing and mortifying more than anything. Can’t believe they had to send an official government person to do that….” he mumbled the latter bit.

“C’mere, firefly.” Keigo said softly, lifting his arm and wings, inviting Touya in, which he accepted and cuddled closely. “Let’s sleep, yeah?” He mumbled as he wrapped his wings on top of Touya’s body, who in turn wrapped his own arms around the other man. 

Touya nodded gently, snuggling in closer. The mated pair soon fell deep in slumber, holding each other in safe embrace, not knowing what they’d face the next day.

Figured i should do Luna, cause she's one of the earliest pony design I got attatched to, while doing that, also thought why not draw her sister too. I barely draw Celestia anyway.

The mods will include:

Add 1 more slits, instead of just 2 - (✓)

Make the split the slits and make it higher - (✓)

Remove the eyelets - (✓)

Fix the 'silver' stitching on the shoulder (probably embroidery) - (WIP)

Stiffen the collar - (✓)

Stiffen the 3 thingy on the arm cuff - (WIP)

Dirty up the arm cuff so that it atleast look like used metal - (not yet)

I'm a tad bit scared of doing this, i only have a week to do this. But do you see the silver stitching of the shoulder?? I have to do this

17th May - 18th May

I split the coat tails. Since it was just an added detail, i have to split it up cause it was one whole fabric then stitch the seams. Also, i made it higher cause i felt like it's not high enough, addition to that, i also remove the eyelets and made new holes for the lace.

You can see where i cut the slits higher cause the original one has an extra stitching detail (and it's a thicker area too).

My palm actually bruised and my fingers was swollen the morning after the first day cause i had to use pliers to pull the needle through on the thicker area. Had to create makeshift padding for my hand and the pliers lol.

18th May

I added a stitching detail at the collar instead of stiffening it with a wire. I actually like the look of it when flattened like a suit but it's also stiff enough to be a high collar if you iron it right.

It's a pain to pull the needle through, had to use pliers for it.

21st May

I started to embroidered the shoulder stitching after removing the factory ones, usually i just single-thread it but this time i double-thread for the thickness.

This also needed pliers because of the thicker threads. This is a backstitch btw, just from the inner side.

My needle frikin broke and i ordered a new one with same-day shipping and it has arrived but it's missing even thou there's proof that it's been thrown inside the gate of my house. I had to order a new one, so for now this is halted.

22nd May

Ok so my options for the arm cuff are two:

Just stiffen the 3 thingy with wires.

Make it from scratch using EVA foam

I gambled for it by ordering it on Monday and see if it arrives on time and if i had time to make it. And both are achievable, so here it is.

I used 5mm EVA foam for the base connector piece and 10mm EVA foam for the thicker 'metal' part.

Since this is thicker foam, i was able to use super glue without it breaking. Safer options would be cement glue and hot glue, which i don't have and scares to use respectively.

For a 'worn' look, i dented it with my large scissors, my nails, and my cutter.

It's not painted yet, but that's a job for tomorrow. It's passed midnight and i wanna sleep now.

And yes, there was a sacrifice for using superglue successfully, which is it got on my palm while i was holding something and the skin got stuck while my palm is on a cupping position, not great.
