It breaks my heart to discover a poet that has died so young, like in the case of Thomas Chatterton, who ended his life at the age of 17. It’s almost as if God is sending his agents of romance by accident, and through their poetry, they long to go back “where they belong”, also because of the terrible conditions they used to live in. This is a recreational drawing I did of the original portrait of his, you can swipe to see it yourself. What’s interesting is how the arsenic he poisoned himself with, has a balsamic effect, which is suppose to preserve you young.
