I can’t draw but I can write
And thus was the creature, and few could behold it as such. With glistening dark feathers and a piercing beak that skewered many a hapless rabbit head at night, but humanoid in a way I could not comprehend. Upon two long stalky legs of scales and claws, legs that may once have belonged to a monstrous beast of their own right millennia ago. Its arms were wings, with claws sharp as the wind upon each one. Quills were at ease along its back but that was only because we were not perceived as a threat. And how could we be? When we were but the size of morsels. Its eyes bore into us with interest… with hunger. Eyes of the same colour as the sun. Eyes just as difficult to gaze back into. Its mouth opened and we expected a mighty roar, but we were met with a tiny and strangled “caw”.
Oh this is excellent. Reminds me of a very large troodon.
