King of Thieves

any remainder of his shift is riddled with naught but mundane tasks at best. while others loathed the very concept of cleaning atem did so prefer his own space tidy as can be. even if the transition from having nearly every being in his sight waiting on him from dawn to dusk into servicing himself was tedious at first even ripples turn to waves upon the wind and he finds a certain solace immersing himself in tasks that better allow the sands of time to hasten in his favor. upon completion the monarch heaves a sigh and gathers his coat before rightfully joining his companion and immediately winding an arm about one of kadar’s own all while adopting an ever so playful tone.

❝so patient~. you truly meant it when you said you would wait. i am all yours for the evening. now how do you wish to service me in terms of dinner?❞

at such a showy demeanor atem merely flashes some catty smirk in turn. this game of theirs, ever fleeting. of course he prefers to play without the weight of work weighing harshly upon his mind but what remained of his shift was nearly over, thankfully so. features do soften as that taller form draws ever nearer and for a few moments he basks in the warmth, simply content to share something meaningful. hand raises to touch upon the thiefs cheek with soft caress before he stubbornly pulls back with an amused snort of sorts, single brow raised in question.

❝i’ll be getting back then. as for poisoning, well.. i would much rather a method untraceable. come thief, you should know better~. although you always do seem to enjoy any such instance of my punishments.❞

mildly do crimson tinted violet eyes roll at such a brazen comment and he edges an elbow to the other lightly. fingers continue their venture slowly upward whilst tips play against the hem before tugging firmly. in his attempt to drag the thief closer he manages just enough to shift upon toes and lay a kiss against his jaw, the action soft as a feather’s fleeting touch as he muffles a snort against his collar. despite all seemingly immovable seriousness of his majesty in tone he only jests.

❝i’m afraid you’ve no choice in the matter. either wait or further pine for mine affections until you can no longer~. i would hope you wish for my hands only or else we may have some serious transgressions to discuss.❞ 

excuse you, thief. there’s barely enough time or space for him to shift about, hand tugging in attempt to straighten his own tie before the familiarity of strong arms are set upon him and he is reeled closer. all without a chance to protest… how easily the words are stolen despite the red that dashed regal facial features only brightening further as the space before them is closed. a mild huff before head lays against that chest and eyes flutter, fingers fussing with the edge of that coat.

❝well then… i am flattered. if you can wait for a while yet my shift will be over soon enough. perhaps you can control yourself until then~?❞

and imagine the rising flush of undeniable surprise upon seeing such once he is finally relieved of prattling customers and their seemingly endless list of demands for a proper break. that is the sound of him choking in a most undignified manner on his chosen beverage of handcrafted choice before gaze quickly turns upward towards the gruff laughter pouring out at him. well well. if it isn’t the offender himself.

❝really, kadar? how easily amused you are by such perverse antics. it’s nothing i have not seen before. so desperate. could you not wait until i at least get home~?❞
