Talk my ear off all you want, I have been talking to my cats lately so I feel like I am going to be the same way to be honest.  I am just glad that they cannot talk back cause I am not sure I even want to know what they are thinking half the time.  

I know that feeling, part of me would love to know what Mikey is thinking and the other part of me is convinced he is silently judging me in all his doggy cuteness. If they do start to talk back though, let me know so I can arrange the intervention!

That’s true. I’m more than willing to admit when I’m wrong and recognize that somebody else has a more relevant opinion but I do enjoy being right, too! You know what, I think the best way to figure out if you have all this anger inside of you is to actually go to The Rooms. First, because it’s always nice to evacuate all those feelings even if they’re slight. Second, because it could be interesting! And it makes you feel better, I can go with you and use my big arms to stop you from destroying the whole place if you feel like you can’t stop. Or I can just send out an alert, that’s a good plan, too!

Exactly! And frankly I think, since we're willing to admit when we're wrong, that we should be able to revel in the moments that we are right! Kind of like this moment right here where I'm going to have to admit that you are probably right, I suppose there probably isn't a safer place to find out! Which is sad! Listen, I’m pregnant. Which means all I want to do right now is eat. And eat a lot – which I didn’t know happened so early on? – so you do not need to twist my arm about going from restaurant to restaurant, trying as much as possible and taking down notes.

It is and there just aren't many places with this kind of heart left anymore! They do say that pole dancing is a great workout, supposed to do wonders for that core body strength! If it's still there, they could really make some money off that. Your hubby broke the news, and that is absolutely amazing! congratulations to you both and let me just assure you, as someone who fairly recently came out the other side, pregnancy is the one time in your life that literally no one will judge you for what you shove in your face or how much of it you can get in! So, take advantage of it while you can, and if anyone asks I'm just there for moral support of the pregnant lady! And also safety officer, who will naturally have to test all the food before you do!

Not to be presumptuous, because I obviously don't know you, but are you pregnant? That is literally the only time I stopped drinking coffee!

Enjoy it while you can. I’m sure that raising boys and girls is quite different though.  I’ve pretty much always been surrounded by girls. I don’t know if I’d know how to raise a boy to be honest. Even when I was briefly married, he had a daughter.  You’re pretty much never ready for your kids to get bigger and go out on their own though. I know that the day is coming in a few years but when it happens, I can’t really predict how I’ll feel until it gets here.  Oh gosh though, the diapers will provide you nightmares forever. You’ll never forget them.  I’m so glad to be out of those years.  People do tend to not warn you about the real realities of being a parent though. It’s a lot of questions that half the time you haven’t figured out yourself.  If you’re lucky you know more than you don’t though.

I don't know that it's much different at the age he is now, but I definitely agree that as they get older it's very different to parent boys and girls. Personally, I feel like girls would be so much harder, so kudos to you! I'd like to think I could be that cool, laid back mom who is happy to send them out into the world so they can find their independence. knowing me though, I'll be the mum who clings to his leg while he tries to load the boxes on his way out!  I honestly have no idea how these itty-bitty beings hold so much inside them before it ends up in their diaper. It's both amazing and disgusting! I suppose it's hard to prepare for something that is so unpredictable but it sure would be nice to have a blueprint of what's to come.

It was the middle of the afternoon and Miranda had made her way down to the community center, not being able to resist a good board game. She'd ended up playing Cards Against humanity with a group of teenagers who knew her from DAI, and they had been pretty wowed when she occasionally put on the voice for them.

Eventually the game disbanded and Miranda went up to get a bit of pizza and just see what others were doing.

"Woap, sorry." She apologised, side stepping to avoid yet another collision, "That could have been a disaster, no one wants to loose their pizza."

You know, I never thought I would leave LA, if I did, it would be back to London, this place is very beautiful and I am so happy that I packed me and my son up and came here for a fresh start. Since my divorce, I have been searching for that fresh start and I’m so happy that I could find it hear. 

I felt the exact same way, I'd lived between LA in New York for so long, I hadn't even considered that there was somewhere out there that I could fall as in love with as much as I have with Bayview in such a short time. We’re halfway through the year, and already, so much has happened. I married the love of my life just recently. My eldest turned six, so basically, he’s an adult. My little girl is still convinced that she can wear an Elsa costume six days out of the week. And now, we’re expecting. Mhm, you heard that right, folks! We got one in the oven! So much is happening and I’m excited about it! Gotta plan to fix up the baby room, gotta think of a name, gotta start a college fund all over again. So much to do! Anyway, I do want to know what good things have happened to you guys during this year! 

I'd say that sounds like an amazing year! For the record, there's no reason an Elsa costume can't be worn six days a week! Congratulations, that's the best news anyone could hope to hear. I have had quite a bit of change as well, not so much in the year 2020, but in the last year. My boy is just over nine months now and then there was the big move to Bayview, obviously. For as crazy as the world can seem if you watch the news are paid too much attention to Twitter, it's nice to know there are still a lot of good happening for people!

Thank you, I’m so glad I’m not alone. I was starting to feel bad about myself because look I’m only 25, I should not be this exhausted. But a nap sounds like perfection! I think you only have to worry when you start feeling too exhausted to do the fun stuff! For example, if you tell me you're too tired for tomorrow's pizza party then, and only then, will I be concerned! Oh wow, thank you so much! You could try, I suppose, but it likely wouldn't go over too well! I'm not sure that looking up to someone and admiring them for the work that they've done is the same as putting them on a pedestal, is it? I certainly don't think they are and never once thought she was anything more or less than human, but I also believe there is being ‘just another asshole‘ like the rest of us and then there's actually being a shitty human being. Most of us fall into some grey area rather than simply black or white.

Let’s be real, who doesn’t avoid unpacking when they move into a new place? So me and a friend of mine started reading our horoscopes and now I think I might have a slight addiction? Is this a thing? Same here. I find it to be really insane that you can be okay with hurting someone or truly have no remorse for what your actions may cause a person to do. Just no humanity in some people which is sad. That is so true. There are so many crazy people out there in the world and the internet gives them even more tools to be crazy. Just insane how the world works now a days. It would be something to get inside their minds and figure out why they do what they do. I wish! Trust me if I could I so would, but it’s unfortunately frowned upon. I don’t even want to think about those teenage years considering I am right around the corner from experiencing it. Yes it is. You feel me on that level. It’s like you want to believe you are doing a great job, but then you are second guessing yourself. It really is amazing how much they get into different things. Does make raising a kid really great and you know you don’t have much to worry about. It truly is the perfect place.

They definitely don't seem to feel things the way the rest of us do - but who knows, maybe they feel them even more and all their trolling is just a defence mechanism. I don't know, it makes me sad in a way because I don't like to see anyone in pain. I'm sure you're going to do great though. I imagine you'll be one of those moms that all their friends love! Exactly! It makes me feel good to know that you still feel the same and it's not just a new mom thing! I feel like every decision I make has the potential to have such long lasting consequences and you never really know if you've made the right one. As long as he doesn't grow up to hate me or become an Internet troll himself, I think I have to be satisfied that I've done all right by him!
