Upon the Diamonds entrance into the ship’s bridge Yellow Pearl immediately stood at attention, giving her matriarch a Homeworld salute. “The ship is currently in peak condition my Diamond.” The Pearl stated. The Diamond’s ship was a magnificent and glorious dreadnaught and flagship of the Homeworld fleet and she was proud to serve onboard the ship with Yellow Diamond. The ship itself was heavily armed with ranged weaponry and the unique and incredibly useful ability to crush and swat away any potential enemy spacecraft. Sadly though, as the campaigns for domination continued the the more and more primitive primitives would become and the ship was primarily used to transport the Diamond on Diplomatic missions and other “boring” objectives, as the late Pink Diamond would of said.

Yellow Pearl stayed at attention and spoke up, an extremely small and barely noticeable trace of fear in her tone. “I regret to inform you that more of our colonies are rapidly expiring and we are very quickly running out of resources to produce anymore soldiers or ships.” She informed the tall Diamond.

                   “... Good. Have the Nephrites take us off-world and set a course for another colony-- I don’t care which.” A large hand lifts to rub at her temples, her fingers tracing her jawline before falling back to the arm of her throne. There’s a notable exhaustion in her voice, but despite her semi-lethargy, it was subtle. 

At her Pearl’s news, however, citrine hues flick down to her, perturbed. It wasn’t very hopeful, and she had hoped they would last another millennia. Pursing her lips, she sits back, crossing her legs at the knee as she mulls it over. 

                       “.... W h i c h colonies, Pearl...?” She asks, her tone inviting no room for second-guessing.  “Because if it’s over fifteen percent, then we have a problem.” A moment of silence settles between them, the Diamond eyeing her irritably.
