can i just say how much i just adore butterpond <3 i visit thr DA all the time, it's everything i want my ideal island to be! so excited to see how your new island turns out, it seems like you're having a lot of fun since your restart! im also thinking about restarting but am kind of scared i'll regret it! do you have any tips, or pros/cons to restarting? i rly want a different island name ;-;
Omg! This is so kind thank you so much I’m so glad you enjoy butterpond 🥺 and yes I’m also excited, I’m hoping to capture the same vibe as butterpond but with a different twist! I’m having a bit of trouble doing it rn with all the snow but It’s getting there! I should be posting more pics sooooon! And personally I think restarting is so much fun, I understand people’s fears with losing all their progress and the islands they love, luckily I’ve had a lot of experience letting go of past things and I actually find it very refreshing now. You will lose some things that you love, one of the things I did was make sure I had screenshots of my whole island, and especially all my favourite parts so whenever I miss my island I can go back at look at all my favourite pics! It also helps that I can visit my dream too! When I first made butterpond one of the biggest reasons I restarted was because I wanted to change the name, and I’m so glad I did. If you ever want help with restarting I can hold some of your fave items that you don’t want to lose on my island, I’d be happy to help 🥰
