so basically it is theoretically possible for me to someday eat a burger with onion rings again. YAY!! it’s hard to be super pumped because i do still have symptoms and i don’t know when they’ll stop, but i’m definitely glad the colonoscopy was over. it was a super easy and non painful experience and they gave me drugs so i barely felt anything anyway. and even though i couldn’t finish the last 500mL of the CoLyte the doctor said i did well (praise works on me so i feel better now)!!

and before the procedure they let my boyfriend sit in with me while i got the IV put in because that was actually the part i was most afraid of (i have ocd and HATE needles). i actually cannot believe how kind the nurses and doctor were, going to the ER was a vastly different experience…
