daddy draco

so i wanted to do a brother/sister imagine and thought of this. i’m not realy sure how i feel abbout this piece, so feedback is always appericated. hope you enjoy, and don’t forget to request! 

You walked down the stairs quietly, knowing any loud noise would echo through the nearly silent Malfoy Mansion. You had heard your father whispering before, and being the curious teenager you were, had decided to check on what he was doing.

Dark as midnight, six pack Coors Light…you don’t look the same

It was dark as midnight when you rounded the corner to the Great Room, where you saw your father, Lucius Malfoy, sitting with six finished glasses of firewhiskey and another bottle in his hand.

“Daddy?”

Your father turned to face you, and you froze when you saw how different he looked. His eyes were red, and his face held a deeper scowl than usual.

Past my bedtime, blue and red lights come take you away

“It’s past your bed time, Y/N. Go back to bed before everyone arrives.”

You frowned, knowing he was talking about the Death Eaters and how they were coming to get your dad for a “mission”. You opened your mouth to speak, but before you could, blue and red lights began to appear outside of your house as Death Eaters appeared to take your father away.

Hate to see you like a monster so I run and hide

You turned, moving up the stairs as siently as you had moved down them. You shivered as you heard your father talking to the Death Eaters downsiatrs, and had opened the door to your room when you heard one of them say your name. Curious, you listened intently.

“Y/N could be an amazing Death Eater, Lucius. If she had the proper training.”

Freezing, your heart rate picked up. A Death Eater? You? You had never supported Voldemort’s cause, but you had always kept your mouth shut about it in fear of your life. You bit your lip, turning and heading into your room and deciding to talk to your dad when he had returned.

After quite a few hours, you heard the distinct “pop” of appiration and slowly moved out of your room and down the stairs to see your dad hanging his cloak – stained crimson – up in the entry hall closet.

“I don’t want to be a Death Eater.”

Your father froze, turning to face you sharply. His eyes – the eyes you had as well, grey and deep like the ocean you were never allowed to swim in – bore into yours.

“What do you mean, Y/N? 

“I won’t be like you, Daddy, I won’t. I don’t want to be a Death Eater, I don’t want to work for Voldemort, and I don’t want to support his cause!”

Your dad laughed coldly, sending shivers down your spine. “You foolish girl, you have no choice in the matter. You’re fighting back the truth, but you forgot something. You’re a Malfoy, and you will serve the Dark Lord because our family is bound to his service. You can’t stop DNA, Y/N.”

“Yes, I can, and I will.”

 You shot awake from your nightmare, running a hand through your long Y/H/C hair as you took deep breaths. Snippits of memories from that defining moment in your life still flashed behind your eyes, and you rubbed your eyes trying to get rid of them. When that was uncessfull, you dragged yourself out of bed and through the large mansion to the kitchen for a glass of water.

Hate to ask but what’s it like to leave me behind?

It had been about two years since the war and you father’s arrest for helping Voldemort, but you still felt as if it was yesterday. You still wondered if it was hard for him to leave you behind – to leave his family behind and follow someone so blindly.

Are the pieces of you in the pieces of me? I’m just so scared, you’re who I’ll be. When I erupt just like you do, they look at me like I look at you.

You started to wonder some more. You had your father’s eyes and nose, and the shape of his face – how many more pieces of him were in you? Would you eventually become like your father, cold and harsh to even your own family? Everytime you got angry, people looked at you like you look at your father. Were the pieces of him showing through, and would they eventually over take you?

You sighed, placing your head in your hands and taking a deep breath. No, you weren’t going to become anything like your father, you decided as you placed your empty glass of water in the sink and headed to your bathroom to splash cold water on your face before getting back into bed.

Draco noticed that you were nervous, for some reason he couldn’t understand. Throught all your classes, you wouldn’t sit with him like you normally did, and at dinner – where he practically forced you to sit next to him – you were fidgiting around and not making eye contact with him the entire meal.

Remember when we never needed eachother, the best of friends like sister and brother? We understood we’d never be alone.

It didn’t annoy Draco that you wanted to sit with other people in class, or that you kept bumping his arm when you was moving around at dinner. What bothered him was the fact that you and Draco has been best friends since forever, and you knew – or should know – that you didn’t have to go through anything alone – so why weren’t you talking to him about your problems? Some people confused you guys as brother and sister, and neither of you had minded, until as of late. Draco noticed how you didn’t like that term, and he could tell that was one of the things bothering you.

The truth?

Those days are gone, and I want you so much. The night is long and I need your touch. Don’t know what to say, I never meant to feel this way…don’t want to be alone tonight.

You were in love with Draco Malfoy, your best friend. You didn’t want to be seen as his sister, you wanted to be seen as his girlfriend. You wanted to go on dates to Hogsmade and kiss in between class in janitor’s closets and cuddle in the common room firelight. But Draco didn’t feel that way, or at least that’s what you thought – and that’s also why you were ingoring him as of late.

So when Draco cornered you in the common room after everyone had left, you were frozen. He was looking at you with a look of sadness, his eyebrows slightly furrowed as the firelight cast a hue of red around his figure.

“Y/N, are you going to tell me what’s been bothering you?”

I hear your voice, and I start to tremble. Brings back the child that I resemble.

You started to shake slightly, afraid Draco would never speak to you again if you told him. He imeditely noticed this movement and pulled you into his arms, reminding you of when you were younger and had nightmares, and how Draco would do the same thing.

“Hey, it’s okay Y/N. I won’t let anything or anyone hurt you, so can you please tell me whats wrong?”

Oh, I want to say this right, and it has to be tonight. Just need you to know…

You held tightly onto Draco, burying your face into his chest. “I just want to say this right,” you mumbled into the fabric of his shirt. You felt him grab your upper arms and remove your body from him, but his hands stayed on your arms as he held you at arms length and looked you in the eye.

“It has to be tonight, I don’t want you to carry this burden alone any longer.”

You nodded and gulped. “I just…need you to know something…” you began, looking down at the ground.

I don’t want to live this life, I don’t want to say goodbye. With you I wanna spend the rest of my life.

“I don’t want to live my life as your best friend anymore, but I don’t want you to think I don’t want to be best friends, because I don’t want to say goodbye. I just…I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Draco Malfoy.”

You looked up at a frozen Draco as tears welled up in your eyes, and suddnely everything came spilling out of your mouth.

What can I do to make you mine? Falling so fast and hard this time. What did I say? What did you do? How did I fall in love with you?

“I just fell so hard and fast and I would do anything to make you mine. And I don’t know how it happened, how I fell in love with you, but I did. I don’t know what I said and what you did, but I fell for you and I fell hard.”

Draco was still frozen when you looked up, and your tears began to fall from your Y/E/C eyes. “Please don’t hate me,” you whispered, frozen as well in fear that the boy you were in love with would never speak to you again.

Those words seemed to shake Draco from his frozen state and he let go of your arms, frowning.

Everything’s changed, we never knew.

“Everything’s changed, Y/N. We never knew…”

“Knew what?” you questioned – if Draco was never going to speak to you again, you at least wanted some closure.

“That we both fell in love with eachother.”

You stared at Draco in shock, before he had stepped forward and pressed his lips to yours. Your lips arms circled around his neck and his arms went around your waist as you kissed, tasting your salty tears from before. When you couldn’t breathe anymore – as much as you didn’t want to – you pulled away, smiling.

Golden Trio Era 

Draco  

"Y/N..." he would breathe, pulling you tightly into his chest and wrapping his arms around you. Your arms would wrap underneath his and you would grip him by the shoulders, closing your eyes and pressing your face into his chest. Stroking your hair, he would kiss your forehead as the two of you swayed back and forth lightly. "I missed you, love." 

Harry

You two would see each other at the same time and you would move towards him, smiling as you felt your bodies collide. No words would be said as he held you tightly, his arms around your back and his face pressed into your hair, breathing in your scent, which he had missed. 

Ron 

Once your eyes had locked, you both would drop what you were carrying and run towards each other. Your name would escape his lips in a whisper as he caught you in his arms and your arms wrapped around his shoulders. He would grip you tightly, picking you up slightly - and never wanting to put you down again in fear of being separated once more. 

Fred

He would see you walking and decide to surprise you, moving behind you and staying in the shadows as you walked around, looking for him. When he felt you’d had enough, he’d run forward and grab your arm, turning you around and pulling you towards him. You would barely have time for a large smile to overcome your face before his lips were on yours, and your hands were around his neck and tangled in his hair and pulling him closer - just where they should be. 

George 

You would see him at King’s Cross station before he had saw you. He would only see you seconds before you jumped into his arms at full speed, barely giving him time to catch you. Your legs would wrap around his waist and he would hold you, the both of you smiling from ear to ear. “Missed me, did you, Y/N?”

Marauders

 Remus

He would see you before you saw him, calling out “Y/N!” You would turn and find him standing right in front of you, and a smile would overcome your face as you folded yourself into his arms. He’d press his lips to your forehead and smile wider than anyone else in the world at the moment, except maybe you. 

Sirius

Sirius would come up behind you and spin you around, not giving you a chance to even say “hi” before pressing his lips to yours. His arms would rest on your lower back as his drew you in closer, and your hands would rest against his chest, pushing him away slightly so that he couldn’t deepen the kiss too much - after all, there were kids around.
