This is a continuation of my previous post about the Bubble is Abel and is the evil force theory lol.
Please do check out that post as this is the second addition to that! Though feel free to just hop on in and witness the craziness I'm rambling about.
On the bottom is the original posts I'm referencing to that I have mentioned beforehand. (Go check them out if you have time their amazing!)
Also I talk about possessedmni here so, cw: possession mentioned
Also this is a very long post.
Part 2. Bursting the bubble
It is 100% okay to think it is Caine who is just adding temporary modifiers in these adventures and accidently caused paranormal activity to occur!
Though I'd like to add some notes on why it could be... Bubble >:D
One absolutely unhinged reason is because @gooseworx voices both Bubble and Possessedmni, which could also just be unintentional and have no plot relevance.
Also, the sharp teeth, circle eyes and sticking out tongue?? Bubble coded (My reasons are looking not to strong at the moment)
With all seriousness though, I'll have to bring up a note from @spark-hearts2 blog about the evil bubble theory, that is... Why was Pomni's body so buggy and jittery?
Yes possessions are often protrayed like this, but her body was prone to just flail around, note she does not retaliate when Kinger tries to push the "souls" out?
Their post mentions that "The thing" doesn't know how to use a body. Even after asking Kinger the question - "How's your wife, Kinger?" - which tells us it is quite knowledgable and old, yet it still has trouble.
I say it's Bubble. Bubble is only a floating head, so maybe he has trouble controlling limbs, which could also be why he is perfectly fine with rotating Pomni's head like 180Β° lol.
During this time, Bubble is not seen with Caine and Zooble's therapy session. Which feels intentional as even if these scenes are for exploring Zoobles character, Bubble is specifically placed there at the very end of the episode with them π Also this will further support another idea that we'll get to, but for now let's just say Bubble is listening on in to what these two have to say.
Now how about the next part? Like, why would Bubble want to possess someone in the first place?
Let's bring That Anime Geek Girl's theory into this, specifically if Bubble is a nerfed version of Abel idea. Reasons are unknown for now, but regardless, if Bubble was once a fully modelled character like Caine, he'd have more ability to do things and be less buggy.
I think he wants a body of his own, hence possessing Pomni to visualise this, disguising this act to be a part of the "spooky" adventure.
The first thing said after the giggling from Possessedmni was a long winded "Freedom", which is typical for trapped souls in hell, but what if it was actually Bubble saying this when owning a body again?
Another thing that is important from That Anime Geek Girl's theory is the idea that Abel was the communication guy while Caine was the adventure maker, one and the other with skills that the other did not have.
@spark-hearts2 mentioned in their theory about the strange lack of personality in the training room, the one designed for Jax's employee reevaluation.
It was noted how it was unlikely for Caine to leave this place undecorated, meaning it might've not been Caine who made this, almost like something else entirely.
Then I thought about it again.
What is this room designed for? It is not meant to impress the players, it is meant to communicate to them!
(Jax here experiencing a supposed one on one confrontation about his behaviour as an employee. Once again, could be the entity disguising this moment as part of the adventure)
When combining this with the idea that Abel was originally designed for communicating to players, it would explain why the room is so empty, as the focus is on talking instead to a strangley interactive tape recording.
Because Caine didn't make it, Bubble or a fragment of Abel did.
But how do we know Bubble can do that?
Remember in episode 7 when Ragatha asks Caine what would happen if they pressed the other button? And Caine quotes, "Oh I didn't put much thought into that one, cause I knew you'd never pick it. So I left that up to Bubble."
So Bubble just has the ability to make things?? To what extent I'm not sure, but like, Bubble has some form of power Caine has (which makes sense as he is the assistant).
Further proof that it is one hundred percent Bubble though is that Caine didn't actually know what was waiting for the players if they pressed the blue button, as he kind of reaffirms what Bubble says with uncertainty.
Therefore, if Bubble can make things without Caine's knowledge, the training room and the possession thing could be Bubble's doing, trying to communicate with the players, getting their attention, and trying to regain power and some form of authority, either through a body or through some force.
Also, what if the large hands are meant to be part of Abel's original model? As it is similar to Caine's hands, however we know that grabbing players like this is an unlikely way of moving Players for Caine (which @spark-hearts2 mentioned in their post).
This is a crazy parallel, but the treatment for Jax here compared to how Caine treats him is, once again, a possible parallel if this is Abel's doing, as one loves him as a human to interact with, and one probably knows he's a troublesome jerk (AKA Abel knows since he understands humans and would understand Jax is the worst of the bunch, soz dude)
Speaking of parallels, the one I actually was meant to discuss is between the possession scene and Jax's training.
Ep 3 and 4 shared the creepy expression for Pomni and Gangle, as I have mentioned in the first post, but there was also something else I'd like to point out.
Both are projections of a person's deepest regrets, shame or cruel reality, with Gangle's projection of wanting to be a comic artist but instead fulfilling a career as a fast food manager, and Kinger who blamed himself for the loss of everything (implying he blames himself for the loss of his wife)
It seems it takes pleasure on revealing a person's deepest woes. Which is kind of like flexing that they know these humans and their complexities. Who would do that? None other than Abel the communication guy! Or Bubble in this case.
And on the topic of parallels, once again with Caine being not the communication guy, it would parallel to him trying to figure out Zooble, ultimately forgetting about Zooble's insecurity and also not understanding how to help them. As he's not great at remembering these things, his brother, Abel, would've known. :0 could that be why Bubble is there at the end of episode 3? Could he be trying to gather information? Or was he just there to be a silly goofball?
Alright part 4 which is the third installment will be in the third post I make lol, I think it'll be the last in which I discuss extra notes like why was Abel changed to become Bubble, plus an additional crazy idea.
Feel free to leave your ideas in the comments!
