just a take: i think claire is actually the most misunderstood character across bot series and the way chloe writes her doesn't help at all. i’m afraid we’ll never get to know the real claire because cw doesn't care about her — i think she never really wanted to write clairegibsie and the way she spoke about his trauma made that very clear to me.
