JORDAN’s face scrunched up, her head slightly jerking back. ❛Short stack? I’m most definitely average height, let’s start there. And, actually, I was thinking more of help me piss off my father so he buys me a cactus? But, I can’t tell if you’re the bold type. My dad’s kind of intimidating. Do you know somebody who might make something shake?❜

❛Okay. well you keep supporting daddy, and I’ll keep supporting the number of people he’s pushed out of their homes, and we’ll see what happens.❜ Tilting her head to the side some, she flashed as smile at the people who had just walked into the shop, pushing past Kailani as she rushed to hand them a flier.  ❛Hi, let’s stop gentrification!❜

❛I’m sorry, I was hoping that for one in your life you’d stop being an ain’t shit nigga...Guess you’ll try again tomorrow?❜ She chuckled, playfully shrugging her shoulder before taking a bite out of the shrimp on her plate.  ❛I’m thinking about getting another tattoo, but I don’t know what I want, forreal. Something on my fingers, though. Any ideas?❜  

❛Or, maybe I’m here because the owner is, unfortunately, my sister? What about that?❜  She responded with a smirk, lowly giggling as he shoved more food into his mouth.  ❛Now, I’m a chicken? Woooow, but you the one afraid to get a li’l tattoo. Not even a itty bitty one on your finger. I guess.❜ JORDAN placed her finger against her chin, tapping it as she pretended to think.  ❛I mean, I could have but you just tried to play me. What do I get if I don’t snitch?❜  

❛As far as I know, Dad put some money into this. I can’t believe you’re okay with what he's doing. You of all people should be helping me hand out these fliers!❜ She stomped her foot on the ground, giving her brother an upset look. ❛It’s not just about the cactus! I mean....maybe, if someone had gotten me the one I want-. That’s not the point. The point is, I’m sending a message to do dad, and to me, this is the perfect place to do it. My opinion, RIGHT?❜ 

JORDAN rolled her eyes at her sister’s attempt to threaten her. She briefly looked over the words on her fliers, before returning her attention back to a loud Kailani.  ❛Ummmm, so you think I should go harder right? Pitchforks, posters? Maybe I could get some of Cam’s friends to run up in here and join me? I TOLD you, not to have him sponsor the event. And both of y’all are gonna’ ignore me? Okay, you’ll see.❜

❛Ooooooooooooh.❜ JORDAN slowly nodded her head, before placing a hand over her face, lowly chuckling.  ❛Now, that makes sense. I’ve never heard anyone say that, so maybe my age showing a li’l bit.❜ Listening to the female speak, JORDAN couldn’t help but to react with a “yuck” expression smeared across her features.  ❛Kinda’ like cranberry juice but with alcohol? Wait, acidic is like soda. So, like grape soda with alcohol? Wait, that actually sounds good. But, I think I’ll stick to my root beer. I will never understand the concept of wine.❜  

JORDAN habitually rolled her eyes in a playful manner. ❛Now it’s just the first stop. But, I’m already a li’l tatted up and I don’t feel like whining in front of half of Bridgewood, so. I’ll pass on this one.❜ She replied, before raising an eyebrow as an idea popped into her mind.  ❛Wait, you didn’t hear? The rule is if you eat something from the table, you have to get a tattoo.❜

Her brow corrugated as her brother yelled at her, then widened a bit as the stack of papers were ripped from her hands.  ❛Um! First of all, I’m doing anything besides practicing my right to protest. Plus, this is the only way I can send a message to dad and at the same time get my damn cactus. So!❜ She raised her voice at Amare, before snatching her stack of papers back.  ❛Four, you’re buggin’.❜ She mocked his voice.  ❛And two’s not buggin’ by having dad sponsor her event? Yeah, aight.❜

JORDAN laughed even louder, taking the plate that was handed to her.  ❛Shut uppppp! You all talk. You forgot what happened last time we fought? Yeah, you got spanked.❜ Playfully rolling her eyes, she proceeded to pick at the food on the plate.  ❛So, are you getting tatted, or you just came here to freeload?❜

Already standing at the food table, JORDAN’s eyes wandered over the options before overhearing the male’s voice. She couldn’t help but lowly chuckle.  ❛So, you just came for the free food? You’re not even tryna’ get tatted up, huh? Lameeee.❜

JORDAN slightly corrugated her brows, before twisting her lips to the side.  ❛Performance...appearance..? I don’t get it. Is that like one those oldhead sayings?❜ She allowed the female to order her drink before her eyes widened with interest. ❛Ooooh, that sounds so fancy. Is that like a wine cooler or something? Wait, maybe one of those sweet red wines?❜

JORDAN looked over her shoulder before slightly leaning into the female.❛Because my dad is being a dickhead, and he won’t listen to me. I wanted to get back at him, and I knew he’d be mad if I protested Kailani’s event. You think I should’ve gone all out, with poster boards and a group of angry people? Paid, of course. ❜

JORDAN’s eyes widened slightly she noticed her sister approach her, before folding her arms across her chest, leaning to one side.  ❛Dad’s starting up another project again, near Crenshaw, after I specifically told him not to. So, I’m getting back at him. Plus, I still didn’t get my damn catcus. It’s been like three weeks!❜
