I better see EVERYBODY reblogging this
society vs. us
my husband: bro, my wife is hairier than you
society: that's so gay, bro
my husband: i know right. enjoying the hair that grows naturally from a woman's body indicating she is post-pubescent is totally gay, man
society: are you calling me a pervert?
my husband: if I was the type to throw unfounded slurs at brainwashed, simple-minded people, I would call you a pedophile. but of course not
society: fight me
my husband: lol no
me: fyi we are a polyamorous partnership always welcoming new friends . . .

When a six year old tells you your freckles are pretty, but you don't have freckles. You have acne scars.
Has anyone ever watched 8th season and just been like fml fml fml
Me, this week.
Me, last week.
End of the Semester
Last two days of the fall semester. Wish me luck!!
Pep talk to myself:
Sometimes you have close close the bujo, hide the notes, and keep the coffee brewing all day. When you hit a certain mix of stress, nerves, and panic, forget the routine and buckle down with the bullshit!
You are smart enough to bullshit your way through anything!! This isn’t biology all over again, it’s simply managing document quality and creating publications. You know how to do this. You have written enough essays to know how to make the worst idea look like heaven on paper! You will rock these last four projects.

It’s that time of the year again 🙌🏽💕
12.07.2017
happy friday eve! I didn’t do a spread for this week (yet) because I feel like a) there was no time and b) it’s far too late to do one now — so enjoy another picture of my monthly spread (and a delicious coffee+muffin I had this week)!
you can watch my december plan with me HERE
I am used to spiraldexes. This is the first week keeping track of my daily schedule using a new system.
I am not sure if I like it yet. I may go back to spiraldexes. The main reason I switched is because I lost my circle stencil. :(

Welcome (to myself)
I have kept a bullet journal for years now. I just started my fifth journal. Even though I am a bit late I am officially welcoming myself to the studyblr community.
My name is Macy. I am twenty-two years old. I have three cats. I am an Aquarius. My glasses are perpetually smudged. When I first took the Pottermore sorting quiz, I was extremely alarmed to find out I am a Slytherin. Years, and many Sorting hat quizzes later, I gladly accept that I am ambitious as hell and maybe a little bit mean.
I always thought I was more like a Ravenclaw, because I enjoy so many subjects and find almost everything interesting in some way (you should see my personal library). However, I realized that my curiosity is second place to my desire to get the A+. Even if it means watering down an essay to please my professor.
After all, as long as I have the knowledge it is mine to use as I please, right?
I am decent at and somewhat fascinated by math, history, and science, but I am obsessed with the English language. I love reading. I live for writing.
My favorite drink is black coffee (have you tried the new Starbucks Christmas blend? ohmigod, orgasm in a cup). My second favorite drink is water, then Diet Mountain Dew, and finally bourbon. Have you deduced that I spend the majority of my time studying or at work?
Speaking of work, I have a full time job. I’m on salary, but from my own calculations I worked forty-two hours this week. BOO.
I married the love of my life. He is a republican asshole who I have at most three things in common with. He’s great in bed. Also, he’s sweet to our cats. The thing I hate most that he does: leaves his gun in bed. Bastard.
I will admit, the only thing that is distinctly non-Slytherin about me is my disinterest in politics. I have a basic understanding, but over all my brain is cluttered with a bunch of stereotypes and not many opinions of my own about the right and left sides. I believe in clean energy though, and I voted for Jill Stein even though she had no chance of winning.
When I listen to music, I listen for the quality of the lyrics. Genre has no effect on me. I like Taylor Swift, Bob Seger, Bowling for Soup, Atmosphere, and many other random artists because they write amazing lyrics.
My favorite holiday is Easter and my second favorite is Halloween.
That’s all I can think of right now. Follow me, I’ll more than likely follow back. Ask me questions, I’ll do my best to answer.
The former New York Post columnist Susan Mulcahy has been dealing with Trump’s lies for decades. What is her advice to the media on handling him?
Like Trump, I was born in Queens…he was born in Jamaica and I was born in nearby St Albans (some years later). I spent most of my life, until this decade, living in the NYC metro area. My point is that Trump is very much a local, and the locals witnessed a Trump that, I think, America and the world doesn’t know as well. It’s one of the reason he is largely reviled in NYC–except maybe Staten Island and the white burbs. (Trump in NYC: “New York Hates You”)
This article is about Susan Mulcahy, who began writing in the NYC newspapers in the late 1970s. She writes about the Trump we’ve known through the decades–but she knew him better. Her observations are (ahem) unimpeachable. This is a really, really good read.

“He’s a pathological liar. I’ve said that repeatedly and I’ve been saying it since the 80s. He has two sports, golf and lying, and that’s it. He just lies about everything.”
“People skirt the truth, they play games, they don’t call you back, but the way he lied I had never experienced before. It was so over the top and it was so arrogant. He’s a narcissist beyond description. Every day I get up, look at the paper and can’t believe he’s president. It is such a joke to me.”
“Donald Trump should be treated like a very, very bad child in a preschool. Like the kid in preschool who really wants attention, so he throws his excrement against the wall? That’s Trump on Twitter.”
***
Enjoy. And yes, I dislike having his face on my tumblr.
