So much so, that the tool was no longer required to be replaced prior to the tools carbide wear-down. This save millions of dollars and time annually.

AMS4880 today is the “staple” in high performance Aluminum Nickel Bronze alloys for the aerospace landing gear overhaul marketplace. This alloys features all the benefits of its wrought version (AMS 4640) while keeping costs to a minimum.
