I Like Musicals

Dear fellow members of the Falsettos fandom,

I’ve had tumblr for almost a year now, and before joining tumblr, I never really knew how to interact with fandom before. I’ve been into musicals for as long as I can remember, but when Falsettos found me, something was different. As a queer American Jew, I don’t always feel entirely seen in many musicals, so when I came across Fallsettos, and A New Brain, they spoke to me like no other musical had. Since then, I started learning all that I can about Falsettos and sharing every new fact with everyone I know, but I didn’t have many people to share my intense enthusiasm with.

I’m in my early 20’s now, and through the Falsettos community on tumblr, I’ve finally found people who share this intense passion and enthusiasm for this incredible piece of art. I love getting to see all the people connecting to this musical in many different deep and personal ways. I love seeing all the different forms of fan art. I love watching the rp accounts interact and interacting with them. (I’m one of the Mendel rp accounts) I especially love seeing how the different Jason blogs interact with each other. The way that they incorporate each other into their stories always brings a smile to my face. I guess what I’m trying to say is that, I really appreciate getting to be a part of this community and thank you for sharing this space with me!
