Avery was still drowsy. An early morning and dozing off during the car ride.
The bench wasn't very comfortable, though; the next nap would have to wait. Still, the train station was quiet, which was nice. Aside from an unhappy Hemingway, which was not so nice.
Erika had insisted on a proper carrier for the cat, rather than the nice basket that Avery usually used. That stern look had silenced further protest. She would just have to make it up to Hemingway with some nice tuna.
She hoped it wasn't too bad that she grabbed a few cans of it from the kitchen...
The sound of the incoming train ended her musings.
Glancing at the sight of mountains in the distance, she waved a little before following after the good doctor.
