*A thick layer of fog had started to come in from the ocean, it had been approaching the house for a few hours, no Aaron in sight*
@foggy-tides
[Cooper sighs, the fog had been hanging around a lot lately. He looks up from the pile of dishes in the sink to stare into the field rolling just outside the window.]
Mm...
*The fog curls and twists outside the window, clinging to the foundations of the house. Rolling up onto the deck, bringing the smell of the sea with it*
*It had been a few hours since The Hunter they were housing had returned from his unprompted trip to London, so where was Aaron*
[The more he stares into the fog, the more his concern grows. Until he snaps, turning off the water and drying his hands before heading to the door. He tugs on his boots and shrugs on a heavy jacket before picking up his shovel and opening the door into the wall of curling fog.]
*The moment he steps out the door and a fog, surrounding him twisting and twirling in unnatural ways that fog should not bend the smell of the sea was stronger out here*
[Cooper shivers and shuts the door behind him, careful not to let any of the curling fog into the house. He sniffs, burying his head into the neck of his jacket and tugging on a beanie, which his hair stuck out of at awkward angles.]
[He knew where Aaron would be. He'd be where he always was when something bothered him. So Cooper begins his slow walk downhill to the beach, the bleats of sheep dying off into the fog.]
*The further away from the house Cooper got the denser the fog got, it was getting harder to see as he got closer to the beach.*
*Soon, the grass started to transition in to sand, and through the thick fog, he could see the outline of one Aaron Seymour, just lying in the sand staring up*
[Cooper grumbles at the experience of walking on sand again but he makes his way over to Aaron and stares at him for a moment before lying down next to him.]
[He doesnt speak, as per usual, but he keeps his breathing steady despite the creeping cold of the fog.]
*Aaron doesn't seem to register his presence at all, apart from the slight relaxation, that became evident across his whole body. His eyes are glossed over looking like the ocean on a foggy day, behind his glasses*
*His hand twitches slightly, his arm stretched out a bit towards Cooper he doesn't even seem to realize it. The only sound to besides, their breathing is the tide hitting the shore*
[Cooper sniffs slightly, the smell of the sea rolling over him in waves. Its oddly calming here, with the slow, moving tide and the still, fractured air.]
[He blinks and glances over at Aaron briefly when he spots him move. Then he smiles ever so slightly and slowly drags his own arm to meet Aaron's halfway, taking his hand gently.]
*Aaron's breathing was in time with whenever the tide hit the shore, he was truly one with the sea wasn't he?*
*For a moment, the gloss over Aaron eyes disappear revealing his regular bright blue ones, his head is tilted slightly towards Cooper, before his eyes gloss back over, his hand is cold to the touch as he holds it*
[Cooper rubs his thumb over the back of Aaron's hand and he starts to hum quietly, just slightly louder then the roll of waves nearby, just enough so Aaron knew he was there, and that he would stay.]
*the corners of Aaron lips start to pull up slightly, and his grip tights around Coopers hand, the fog starts thin becoming not as dense or thick as it was before. Finally, he completely rolls over onto his side, facing Cooper, his eyes still slightly glossed over*
[Cooper blinks slowly at the thinning fog, calm despite his thunderous expression. When he tilts his head to look at Aaron he looks so relaxed, so at piece with this world they shared together.]
...hey...
*Aaron is still for a minute letting the sand fall from the spaces in between his finger, he can't really tell where his eyes are looking, but they're starting to become brighter, longer completely glossed over by the grey of a foggy ocean*
..Hi..
*His voice sounds far away and muted, but also right next to him at the same time*
[Cooper let's out a small sound of disgruntlement at what Aaron's voice sounds like, he knew it would happen however.]
Something happen while you were picking up Leo?
[He keeps his voice quiet, the monotone part was natural.]
*He's quiet for a minute staring off past Cooper, the fog lifting more*
No... Just a feeling that somethings going to happen...
*His eyes flicked back towards Cooper, nearly returning to their normal colour*
Stupid I know
[He stays quiet waiting for Aaron to finish.]
Maybe the End is rubbing off on you...
[He smiles slightly, to himself.]
You know I dont think it's stupid, especially if it's coming from you.
...
However it's something that's very clearly bothering you a lot...
[He trails off into thought.]
*He laughs slightly, well it was more of a huff*
That would be something wouldn't it?
*The fog had nearly dissipated completely leaving a muted layer over their vision*
Thank you, Amour, but I can not help but feel that I am overthinking
[He tilts his head at him]
Mmmm.. if you say so, love...
[He pauses for a moment, still staring at him before he raises their joined hands to his lips and places a kiss on the back of Aaron's hand.]
I'll be here yeah? For whatever you need.
...
Tell me if the feeling gets worse.
*He freezes for second as Cooper's warm lips touch the back of his icy hand. The fog finally dissipates completely, and Aaron's eyes returned to their bright blue colour*
Thank you
...
And of course I will
[Cooper hums again, out of approval this time. He keeps Aaron's hand closed safely in his own, still pressed into his lips. He stays like that for a while before sighing.]
Are you ready to come inside? It's getting late and ideally I dont want you out here all by yourself.
*A thick layer of fog had started to come in from the ocean, it had been approaching the house for a few hours, no Aaron in sight*

can I have your name?
@rosalind-learns-blogging
Oh. Hello.
My name is Cooper Seymour.
How on earth did you get out here?
Oooh good name! Thanks for it! Ummm I like digging and burying things! Like bones!
That's a good start. Digging and burying things is a passion of mine as well, but that might be obvious.
Ah before I go on a ramble, what's your name?
You can’t have my name because I like it, but you can call me Vic!
I can respect it. Vic is a still a nice name to go by.
Did you come here for a reason? I'm simply curious.
Well, I was just gonna steal your name and leave, but then you were nice to me so I think I’m gonna give it back.
That's very kind of you. I do quite like my name, picked it myself, so I greatly appreciate you giving it back.

*A thick layer of fog had started to come in from the ocean, it had been approaching the house for a few hours, no Aaron in sight*

[At the meeting place sits a car, dark blue, large boot space, somewhat beat up but it looks highly dependable. Theres a man pacing around outside of it, he looks throughly pissed off]
@buried-finality
A pair of young adults approaches him, one looking nervous, the other looking determined. They’re both pulling suitcases with them.
The more nervous one, a young man with a scar over his eye, speaks up after a moment.
“Are you Cooper?”
"Hm?"
[He snaps his head up, pulled from his methodical pacing. Revealing a face patched with skeleton hand shaped vitiligo spots.]
"Oh, yes, that would be me."
[His facial expression doesnt change, stuck in the same cold glare.]
"Leo and Oliver then? Silver told me about you."
The other person stepped forward.
“Yes. That’s us.”
"Wonderful."
[He nods towards the car.]
"Get in then, backseat is all yours."
The two of them place their bags in the trunk and clamber into the backseat. Leo is glancing around, bouncing his leg, absolutely radiating nervous energy. Oliver places their hand on top of his.
They’ll be alright.
[Cooper follows soon after, gesturing to the tall blond man sitting in the passengers seat before starting the car]
"This is Aaron."
@foggy-tides
*The man turns his head, too face the two in the back, on the side of his neck and a little bit on his face is a patch of blue that's swirls at the edges, like fog*
You're Ver's friends, trying to get away from the institute ain't ya? Don't blame ya, seems like that place crawled out of hell from Ver's, told us
@of-hounds-and-haunted-hearts
”Yes. We’ve run into a bit of trouble with the boss, as you might call him.”
Oliver responds, still holding Leo’s hand tightly.
Eh never did like Bouchard..
*Small bit of fog starts to swirl around the inside of the car, before he clears his throat and it disappears*
Anyways, let's get the show on the road shall we, Amour?
@buried-finality
"We shall.."
[He pulls out of his parking space, and the car begins to weave it's way down the outer streets of London.]
"Hm.. oh you will be working. Not immediately, but I expect you to pull your weight."
@of-hounds-and-haunted-hearts
”As long as it isn’t doing paperwork… or cleaning increasingly difficult to clean shit…”
Leo muttered, mostly to himself, earning him a small chuckle from Oliver.
"Its farm work. Sheep mostly. We have fields of crops as well."
[He glances at them both through the rear view mirror.]
"Its hard work, but it's not paperwork."
Oliver snickered, elbowing Leo playfully.
“Leo can be your farm hound!”
Leo actually laughed at that.
“Maybe!”
I mean we could use a herding dog.
*He turns to face them*
Any particular music ya guys want on? We're gonna be in here for awhile...
”I don’t really care,”
They point to Leo.
“He’s probably going to be asleep on my shoulder for most of the ride anyways.”
Leo’s face turns slightly red.
*He shrugs*
Ah fair enough, long drive.
*He moves to just turn on the radio.*
Leo sighs, already leaning over to put his head on Oliver’s shoulder.
“thank you for agreeing to take us in.”
Of course! We could always use the extra help.
*Aaron seems pretty cheerful for a lonely avatar*
Leo smiles softly.
“We’re happy to help.”
And we're happy to get ya away from Bouchard, we've offered to Silver multiple times...
At least one of his coworkers has sense.
Leo snickers
“Yeah, I guess. I don’t really talk to Silver much, though.”
This one, would agree with you on that being a good idea.
*He points at Cooper*
@buried-finality
"Any connection to the Institute is bad connection. Silver or otherwise."
[His grip on the steering wheel tightens slightly.]
"Theres this one prick that keeps showing up however."
@of-hounds-and-haunted-hearts
”Which prick? We happen to have a surplus.”
"Anthony Cooke. He keeps messing with my graves."
”Ah. Makes sense. Isn’t that Silver’s boyfriend though?”
"Mhm, and hes a pain in my ass."
[He sighs.]
"Hes gotta eat though."
“Fair enough.”
Leo visibly seems to bristle all of a sudden.
You alright there hunter?
*Aaron had noticed Leo tense up*
”Yes!”
he blurted.
“I mean— y-yeah. I’m fine. Just on edge.”
*He raises a brow, and fog starts to surround the outside of the car, soon, they're in a very blind can bleak place*
Nothing should be able to watch you here.
He seems to relax a little bit.
“Th-Thank you.”
No problem!
Leo offers him a tired smile before sighing and closing his eyes, still resting against Oliver.
