Meg's Simblr

Thanks to the results of last night’s Polaris BC elimination, Scotty Wright was put up for download, meaning that I could put him in game for the first time alongside Xerxes (who was downloadable from the beginning) and Calfuray (my own sim). The first two pictures are him without the custom skin and hair; the other two are from when I caved and got them.

If I’m honest, I was caught pretty off guard by his trait selection. He has things in common with Pax (Party Animal) and Calfuray (Good) both, as well as Social Butterfly, and yet I don’t recall the three ever finding reason to hang out. Scotty seemed more inclined to hang with Xerxes, and Calfuray prefers Altair. (Pax, IDK man. He’s an enigma.)

Oh, and my game had him autonomously salute to Xerxes. Because it said he graduated from military school. For… some reason.

This right now, should be across Tumblr like a wildfire. It should be trending on Twitter and Facebook. This is good news. This is great news. This is, for once, a positive step towards educating people on a fucking huge scale about sexual assault.

This isn’t a solution. Rape culture isn’t gone. We can’t all just stand around and pat ourselves on the back saying, “We did it guys! We made the video! Job done.” - but for the first time in my memory, society is beginning to actively change its broken perspectives from the top level down. This is great. This is good news. This is a start.

Tobias was a contestant on young Nolan’s challenge, but was unfortunately voted out on the first round. But Tobias hasn’t given up on finding his soul’s mate yet! You may remember Tobias as this young man:

To help Tobias on his way to finding the one, we decided to give him a little makeover. Well to be honest, all we really did was give him a haircut and some contacts because this brilliant genius loves his clothes and we can’t blame him! What a stud! We are honoured to introduce the new Tobias:

Tobias, tell us something about yourself so future contestants know what they are getting themselves into! Oh okay. Hi! My name is Tobias Warden, not Toby please, and I am 22 years young. I like Comics, Star Wars, Stu Surprise, women and men, the colour red, Harry Potter, reading, um and plenty of other things I guess. I’ve always been the nerdy guy at school and not many people liked me. I think it was partly because I’m an awkward person and I’m not the best with social interaction. I just want to find my other half, the woman or man who will make my life whole, who would understand me and not judge me. Who would see me and only me when we go to dinners with my parents and my two older, handsome brothers who already has the world wrapped around their pinky finger.
