When I started shipping them: After TROS came out. The fandom exploded and I kinda went with the flow lmao
My thoughts: It’s something I can’t see the writers ever doing, because it’s Star Wars, but it’d probably be hard to pull off anyway. Rose and Hux are on the extremely opposite side of the personality and ideals spectrum.
What makes me happy about them: *sigh* it’s a classic villain/hero pairing. What’s not to like?
What makes me sad about them: A couple of nice mutuals aside, this pairing resides in probably the worst fandom I’ve been in (and no, I’m not talking about the fanboys).
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Not exclusive to Gingerrose fics, but Millicent. It was a nice joke to laugh at when it came out, but now I just nope out of a fic if I see that orange furball in it. A villain unironically having a fucking cat in SW universe makes no sense.
Things I look for in fanfic: Dark enough to make me uncomfortable ;)
My wishlist: Don’t have one
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Can’t see Rose with anyone tbh. Can’t see any canon characters with Hux but…some of the OCs in Hux fanfics are pretty damn cool.
My happily ever after for them: Rose leaves the Resistance for FO because the villains should win for once ffs
