trying to write three final papers at the same time, all while also trying to study for a mid term during the hardest, most intense burn out i’ve ever felt feels practically impossible. never mind actually dealing with smaller assignments and keeping up with class readings so I can actually participate….. how do we do it, folks?

Today's post will be fairly short, I just wanted to share my freaked out state with all of you.
I can't believe it's already Thursday. This is when I start freaking out due to not finishing what I had planned to finish by now.
Day 2 - 26 Nov 2020

Today is Thanksgiving but this holiday isn’t that much of a hype for me. I woke up at 8 and then stayed in bed for an hour. I did an abs workout and then I got Jamba Juice from across the street for me and my dad.
Today I want to: proofread my personal insight questions, complete most of my UC application, and write a chapter at least 2000 words long, and review the information for my Critical Race Theory project.
I have to get my little sister from my mom little family party, hopefully it goes smoothly.

We are so close to the end of the semester! Today I finally submitted my 3rd (and final!) paper for my decision making in the CJS class on the abolition of the current CJS for mentally ill offenders. I had to get an extension on this paper and I'm so grateful for how understanding my prof was.
Now I have to focus on my take home history exam which is due monday night. Even though I haven't done any of the readings or lectures, I feel confident that I'll be able to catch up this weekend and crush it! I also turned in my first directed studies application form to my supervisor for next sem.
Since we are nearing the end of the semester, I'll be ending all my posts now with my remaining projects for this sem. Hopefully it will be motivating to see the list continue to get shorter!

While studying I kind of always seem to think about the places I’ve been to and one of these cities is Vienna. I just want to go there again and study in one of the old cafés, go to museums and theatre and get the feeling of home again.

I found out about the cutest little desktop app to keep track of studying (and other activities) just a few days ago. Virtual Cottage is my new go-to when it comes to timing my study sessions, it's a very simple and minimalistic desktop app and it absolutely warms my heart.
The last few days have been so cold (and I can't stand the cold), so all I've been wanting to do is curl up in bed and rewatch Merlin, a show I used to like back in 2008 (where has time gone???). But today I'm forcing myself to get up and pick up the textbooks.

Now cooking something new every weekend has /officially/ became a kind of habit: this Saturday we’ve decided to make some Nutella crepes! 😋
Other than that I’ve cleaned my room, done German homework and watched a lot of Physics 1 lessons.
I feel a little better overall and I really want to make the upcoming week a productive one!

My midterms are finally over. Math was ok but microecon was harder than i expected. I still feel a bit nervous for no reason. I’ve just put cacao in a coffee jar 😪
I found an old seminar paper and decided to rewrite my notes and create a mindmap.I like mindmaps they are great for summarizing information. It was an one day workshop about emotional&social intelligence.

So I had Thanksgiving meal on Friday and then work yesterday (Saturday), so today I’ve got to get some things done today.
I need to create a fitness plan for the month of December, and then there’s some assignments I should either finish or get started by the end of the day. There’s a quiz for biology that’s due tonight, and then I have an econ project and essay revisions due at the end of this week. Then there’s a critical race theory assessment due in two weeks, which I’m procrastinating out of fear, but it’s fine :)
I can’t believe it’s basically December already! I can’t wait for this horrid year to finally come to an end. 2021 HERE WE COME (pls be nicer)
