I just rewatched the ending of Beast Wars (s3, e 12 and 13) to plan for the ending of the baby bee fic AND HOW THE FUCK DID I FORGET THIS

wouldn't it be fucked up if -in a decepticon victory scenario- shockwave tries to lure bumblebee out by using longarm's voice. trying to sound caring and sweet at first but gradually showing his true colors as he starts losing patience.

ofcourse bumblebee instinctively denies longram being a double agent. that would mean he has to face the harsh reality that wasp wasn't a decepticon and he actually helped frame an innocent bot. and bee's not ready to do that so he tries to justify it in his mind by coming to the conclusion that the spy must have some sort of mimic ability, shifting their voice and appearance periodically so the elite guard would keep losing track of them. that must be the case, otherwise someone would've surely busted them by now, right?? bumblebee would've surely noticed if his friend from bootcamp was not who he made himself out to be, right???

also fun fact: last panels were inspired by this scene in the movie Coraline

Got the idea when Megatron pulls shockwaves processor/cables

sad to derail an ask not about him, but no one would dote on sunstorm more than her sire. Optimus and Elita are much nicer to her than they ever were to Bee (Or the other younger bots but that's the war for you) but Starscream will defend her even if she's wrong (Stealing, breaking something, childish mischief against mama so on) Now that he had a sparkling of his own, he can't understand what about him was so hard for megatron to love.

there's literally a whole ass tv show on bumblebee learning how to be a parent/mentor to newbuild cybertronians, and he only gets better at it over time. apart from that, bee loves interacting with kids and gets along very well with them in pretty much any continuity. he's a great role model, he's friendly and compassionate, and being a scout, he'd have a lot of survival tricks he'd be able to teach his kid. bee would also make sure his partner is involved in their kid's life no matter what (whether they like it or not). [x]

He is great with kids in nearly every version of his character and in fact has raised several different ones over the years! He would love to carry and raise his own kid who would get to hang out with all their adopted siblings! [x]
